I could never have imagined that there can be such food items in Pakistan which are completely oil-free and extremely healthy. Watching your preparation, it seems that this is an authentic and original peasant food of the Punjab region. Fun fact: chikar stems from Chikar with the consonant 'ळ" Punjabis (both side), Gujjars, Rajputs and Marathi use it rolling the tongue, so, it's pronounced as chika-r(rolling the R sound that wretched, write words would! It's just indigenous to India and Pakistani speakers and that in just a few pockets of lingual groups here. Baaqi, aapki marzi, thought to share that as I love learning languages.
