- The Nation's two most storied football programs are about to clash Friday night in a stadium who is named after the Father of Modern Day Football.
Paul Brown Tiger Stadium in Massillon, Ohio, will be the site Friday night for a matchup that will go down in the history books forever.
Should be a great game!
Should be!
OUTSTANDING VIDEO. Prroud TIGER here. Class of 67. State champs 64-65. Played for EARLE BRUCE. HORRIBLE 1966.
Thank you!! McKinley grad - class of 2013. But I try so hard to connect all generations from both schools!!
@@JimTrussell the brotherhood of football is a great place to be in...or from. Love this page
Hey Mike, I went to McKinley, class of 64. I was a wrestler and wrestled Terry Manson from Massillon 3 times my sr year. Did you know him?
Yes I knew Terry Manson very well. I was Terry's back up at defensive tackle and became a starter after Terry was injured my junior year of 1965. Terry's a great guy.
@@mikesherrett8928 PS. What made me smile even more was finding your Facebook page and seeing your political leanings......same page, brother!!!
That personal foul after the first touchdown makes more sense now. Kids really thought it was gonna be a cake walk
Hahaha
What if McKinley played against Lowndes High? That would definitely be something.
Lowndes is Valdosta's rival right? McKinley the last few years has had some drama and distractions. Should be good this year.
I wondered where those two state championships came from lmao. Thought my memory was just jank
😂😂😂😂😂
I played Jackson polar bears 👍🏈 Go Brown's 🏈 Go Buckeyes National championship Go Ohio
Thats awesome!!
OUR TOWN WILL SHINE TONITE!!!
Massillon going to shut them down I hope
Should be a great one! And loud!
Valdosta’s program is down this year but I think they’ll rise to the occasion and make it competitive
No wonder Massillon scheduled them if that's the case!!! I was hoping that Valdosta would be loaded
@@markwhitman9029 I was hoping Massillon would have scheduled Lakeland (FL)
Are they loaded? If so Massillon would have said NO THANKS😂
Too early to predict but as usual Tigers will win many games but playoffs another trip up and no on the field title again. HO HUM!😅
Are you from there to know this? Massillon won and I'm not happy!
Got my tickets just last week!! GOOOOOO tigers beat those cats from South Georgia
Me too!
Valdosta stadium can hold up to 20,000 people in capacity our stadium is bigger than Massillon stadium plus this is Titletown usa. We have the biggest high-school rivalry with our cross town rivalry school lowndes high you can see a attendance to 15 to 20,000 people football is very big here
The biggest high-school rivalry in the nation I ment to say also
@@jaywaymon8231 the biggest high school rivalry is Massillon-McKinley. The rivalry averages 20,000. We dont sometimes get 20,000. We average 20,000. 😂😂 Massillon is #4 in Nation in all time wins. McKinley is #10. Used to be #7. No rivalry in the country has sent more players, coaches or GMs to the NFL than us. One of the oldest rivalries in the nation. Predates Ohio St.-Mich. Predates the Rose Bowl. Massillon has 24 titles and 9 national. McKinley has 12 and 2 national. McKinley is also winningest basketball program in Ohio and most winning seasons in the nation. I watched the Netflix series. Valdosta is like Massillon. Not the other way around because Massillon started in 1893. McKinley in 1894.
ESPN, Sports Illustrated, the NFL... All recognize McKinley-Massillon as the greatest high school football rivalry. Arguably the best, but objectively the most historic.
@@jaywaymon8231 just checked. Valdosta and Lowndes started the rivalry in 1967 😂😂😂😂😂😂 bro Massillon and Canton by that point had a solid 75 games played against each other. You can't be serious. Good rivalry sure. But no where near Massillon- McKinley
Valdosta is down big time this year. Out of all years, why would they want to play them now? Smh
Both schools have been trying to get this done for decades. Both schools dodged the other. Finally agreed to play.
Because Massillon didn't want to get blown out trust me those fanatics know what they are doing. Unfortunately they won
@@markwhitman9029Massillon wouldnt get blown out. Give me a break lmao. Even at your best... come play Akron Hoban, Mentor, St Edwards, Colerain, Glenville or St Ignatius and see what happens. Ohio football is built different.. theres a reason its produced more NFL hall of famers other than Pennsylvania and Texas.
I'm a huge McKinley fan and supporter and feel Valdosta will win by 2 TDS but if not that large I still want them to dump the Tigers!
Can't wait to go tomorrow! Should be a fun one no matter what
Massillon will win
I think so too
That band might get trampled over Valdosta run the entire field when they come out
I will be recording. They can do whatever they want 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
@@JimTrussell It best to get out the way.
Good Massillon always tries to intimidate with their band Tiger Rag et all.but hope no kids get hurt.
