Cayson was born just over three months early and faced a rough road right from the start. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia, but needed to come to Nationwide Children's Hospital for a special surgery to save his sight: retinopathy of prematurity (ROP).
Cayson has also battled pulmonary hyper tension, bronchial pulmonary dysplasia. He was on a ventilator for three months and a continuous positive airway pressure machine for 6 weeks to help with his breathing.
Cayson has made a lot of progress here at Nationwide Children's, but will likely be here for the holidays. With your help, we can get Cayson and other babies like him home.

@@skumarvobulapuram7220 It is my elder brothers twin baby girl ... one has undergone laser surgery only and she has recovered very well but the other (ROP STAGE 4) has gone actual retina surgery , her vision is still not that better (she can hold objects if kept close) and due to corona , the treatment is also hampered ....
