Call her moonchild Dancing in the shallows of a river Lonely moonchild Dreaming in the shadow Of the willow Talking to the trees of the cobweb strange Sleeping on the steps of a fountain Waving silver wands to the night-birds song Waiting for the sun on the mountain She's a moonchild Gathering the flowers in a garden Lovely moonchild Drifting in the echoes of the hours Sailing on the wind in a milk white gown Dropping circle stones on a sun dial Playing hide and seek with the ghosts of dawn Waiting for a smile from a sun child
Christina Ricci's dance to this song in a bowling alley in the movie, "Buffalo 66" is a great compliment to this song. Your playing is a great compliment to the original musicians. Well done!!!
I got through only 45 seconds of your cover of Moonchild, but bro, mate, pal, buddy, turn those bottles of beer towards the front!! I want to know what I should buy the next time I'm at Binny's!!! (liquor store chain in the Chicago area.) Fripp On!!!
Awesome work. You make it sound more ethereal and haunting. I was also surprised to see that of all the songs in the world, Tree got a wonderful and beautiful cover. How did you interpret through the rough recording and sounds? Anyway I'm glad to see another lover of the calm and beautiful King Crimson songs like Moonchild and Cadence and Cascade.
I used Hiwatt amp simulation from plugin "Positive Grid Bias Amp" for clean tone. I stomped on Buzzaround type fuzz and plugin reverb "Space Master"(included in Native Instruments reaktor) for last solo. You can use Hiwatt simulation pedal (some pedals on the market). I think the reverb could be substituted with cathedral type reverb or simmer reverb. Thank you!
If only more 1 & 1/2 minute videos had this much valuable sonically layered content.

Le solo guitare est parfait ..j'adore ce morceau découvert il y a 25 ans ..
Thank you. I listened to the original live version of "Trees" many times to interpret the notes.
Very nice mate
Respect
Awesome 👏
What effects did you use? Your sound is nuts and I would like to replicate it. (Especially that last solo part)

Do they sell guitar replicas of Fripps black les paul or did you customize it yourself?
I removed pickup covers by myself.
im curious how did you manage to get that amazing effect ?
Fantastic cover dude. Excellent tone. What pedals did you use.
Thank you. I used a Buzzaround copy pedal for fuzz. Reverb and amp-sim are plug-in.
Its like theme from yosuga no sora
Would you like yo give us the tabs?
I'm sorry but I didn't make Tab for this tune. You can find some King Crimson's original guitar arppegio and solo Tabs on the net.
Where are the next 10 minutes?
After this video, please listen to the silence in your room...
whats the tuning
?
Standard EADGBE.
Dang the tone of that last lead was killer! What effects did you use???
Thanks! Hiwatt amp simulation of "Positive Grid Bias Amp", Fuzz pedal (Buzzaround clone type), and plugin reverb "Space Master" (included in Native Instruments reaktor).
