So awesome for u to share. Im now retired. Graduated w MSEE in 1988. Worked for housing dept for 4 2/3 years as a RA. Maybe a record. Only thing I splurged on was skiing. At least 12 times per year. Otherwise starvation budget. Hit half-acre at least 5 times a week. Wish u the best.
I totally agree that the Pad Thai Fries from Crowbar absolutely slaps 🙌🏼 And I also agree that there are not much food options because they are mostly the same 🤪
I'll be going here early on next year for the spring semester, and thank you so much for this video!!! Look at how your channel has grown! 💫🙆♀️ looking forward for your other videos!
Hi Lizzy ! This video has helped me a lot. I’m going to school at UWYO in the fall of this year. I have been looking at Alight Laramie, and was wondering if the rent price you mentioned was per person or was the overall price. Thank you! :)
It’s per person per bedroom, so you only rent one room in an apartment with a roommate l! You pay some utilities, internet is included. Prices may have increased since o made the video. Good luck at UWYO ☺️
Hii friend hope you are doing well can you tell me if i should go for this college i get offer for this college and can i pay my fees on my own I'm from India please guide ❤
Great video! I’m considering going here but the dorms look smaller then some other schools I’m looking at and I’m not sure I would be happy in a small space
Laurel Grace I have to say they are a pretty decent size compared to most of the dorms I’ve seen but I think they have measurements on their website so you could know for sure.
i am currently going to school online through oregon state but im wanting to move to this school from texas. is there anything i should know before trying to transfer next semester or next fall?
Also, considering you have attended several colleges, I am wondering if you would say this school is more drinking/party centered than the other ones you went to? Thanks!
Thank you so m for making this video! I am going to UW as an exchange student for one semester in August. I believe I will have a great time. I have a question: how much would it be for me to travel from Laramie, Wyoming to California and some beaches of California, are airlines tickets expensive?
Has Downey Hall really gotten that bad? I guess it has been 10 years since I lived there, but I remember Downey being alright. As far as restaurants go, again, it's been a while since I've been back to old Laradise, but I remember The Library (no not Coe Library) being really good, and my favorite places were actually further away from downtown, I don't know if it's still there but there was a Chinese place on the very north end of 3rd street that was great. Lovejoy's was a really popular spot at that time, but I wasn't a huge fan. If any incoming students are reading this regarding the night life, yes Mingle's is great, Roxy's is a nice place and the Buck is a cesspool, but you really ought to take a look at some of the smaller places like The Alibi and Copper's Corner, those were always my favorites, they are especially good if you're looking for conversation.
downy is ass, the coe libary is okay but hour are ass, half acre is nice except on game days since they close early. its a cheap school with decent staff. lot of roudy cowboys and cowgirls
How much of the school year is there snow? In general do the students tend to be outdoorsy? Are the school/students more conservative or liberal? Are there internship opportunities and/or the chance to be involved with research?
September-April are the usual snowy months but don't be surprised if it snows in summer as well. Many of the student population is super outdoorsy and there's lots of amenities, clubs, organizations and individuals dedicated to being active outdoors. I'd say it's almost split evenly between liberal and conservative, but leans more towards liberal. The university holds a career fair each semester so there's plenty of options for internships. Most departments have good research opportunities, but I'm only familiar with the Geology department
It can get a little boring in the winter but it's all about the people and connections you make. Theres a lot of really good people here so it's easy to make friends. Skiing at snowy range is a really fun and cheap winter activity.
Hey thanks for the video! It was really good! Also, i am thinking of applying this fall.. so could you tell a bit more about international students on campus (cuz i am from india :) ) And also if i have more questions can i dm you or email maybe?

Hi! I'm attending WY university this fall 2020 and I'm international student who is going to be living in WY resident hall. Are there any specific or helpful tips to what I need to bring with me or buy there?
@@salmasamet4941I am not sure what their COVID policies are right now you may have your own room. They do have a few one bedrooms but you would have to contact residence halls and dining to fully answer that question
You'll have better options if you buy a parking pass or a city parking permit. If you don't have either, finding free parking is going to be difficult especially at peak class times. Biking to and around campus is going to be the next thing during the warmer months. Unless you get a sturdy mountain bike or something to handle all the ice. It's not too bad
i’m transferring from a community college in south carolina to university of wyoming next fall. super excited. thanks for the video!!

Hey Paige! Well to be completely honest with you I do not know a lot about greek life just because I have never really participated.
Greek life is artificial. Elites. Believe that they r better than the general community. Make your own choice. Rather integrate w the community.
UW is such a nice campus
