Thank You John for the well explained process of using the gauges. I'm just looking up what should be good for me. about to start working out in the field and they told me I needed to get some digital gauges part of my basic service tech tools list. thanks for the video on these specific gauges. Helped a lot.
Yellowjacket did a damned good job with this thing; love the screen that displays the information, only complaint would be the same complaint I have with all their manifolds (even both of their analog manifolds I use) ...threads for hanging the hoses on the BACK of the manifold...where they scratch the equipment(especially new units!) and get crap on them if you lay them down(which then gets on you hoses and gaskets). Wish they would move the hose parks to the FRONT of the manifold like JB, Fieldpiece, Testo, etc.
All the digital manifolds are good about giving you the SH/SC I like the sporlan smart tool the best for troubleshooting because I can easily fit them in my service bag. I also have the smans and the iManifold. The field piece is not very tough when it comes to every day use. I doubt I would buy these simply because I might do one call a month if that. The smart tool are my go to gauges.
It escapes me how manufacturers fail to get the message , we want the ability to monitor the screen from, at the minimim, our service van or house. What's the deal?
I agree, not a fan of the 4-valve man.'s. Some guys were wondering what kind of batteries they use. It is a rechargable & batt. life is - (w/ NO backlight=80 hrs. & w/ Continuous backlight= 4 hrs.) Here are the screen calibration instructions ⬇️ IMPORTANT SET-UP INFORMATION: The touchscreen calibration of your new P51-870 may have been compromised during shipping. To recalibrate, follow these quick steps: When the device is powered on, press the power button three times in quick succession (this should power the device off). Power the device back on to prompt calibration. Tap the three -flashing dots as they appear on the screen. For the best calibration, use a fine tip to tap the center of each dot. When the calibration is complete the device will startup normally. This process is demonstrated here: yellowjacket.com/videos/p51-870-recalibration-guide/
I would use the data created with that manifold to save and review with field techs and customers. Using that Housecall Pro app to upload and save for history.
I think my P51-860's came with clamp cord extensions, but I can't remember, it's been like 7 months and I couldn't wait to get them out of the box! Cool video John!
John just a word of advice from someone who knows first hand.....Trash the CIGARETTES AND DROP THE WEIGHT ...YPOU BREATHING ON THE VIDEO WAS VERY LABORED AND SOUNDED TERRIBLE...

Sounds like a goodman .. holy crap that loud 😳
I like the idea of the manifold figuring superheat and sub-cooling for you.

Very impressive equipment! Definitely a top tier manifold. Good video John!
Hello friend, do you have any video on how to use the Vacuum Sensor Sensor 67030
Like the new manifold. It looks like a solid piece of equipment.

@@mikemalone6103 that's why you buy the I manifold.

I think they updated them. I have a set and the cords are 6ft .
That’s weird, the pipe clamps came with (2) long extra extension cables in my package.
Thanks for the information israel 👍
Can you calibrate the clamps. That is one nice unit

Create a QR label to scan with your "Tool" Phone for future reference and inventory on multi family housing or businesses for PM servicing.
