I get these cars look amazing stock but I don’t buy cars to leave them standard... where’s the fun in that! I’ll do what I think looks good to me! If some things you don’t like that’s fine if we all thought the same they’d be no point in modifying cars.

Mini JCW i never said it wasent.. but anyone who refers to seatbelt covers, gear knobs etc as modifications and says he installed them is 100% chav.. i might even go as far as slav

Not a fan of the lights, something from the 90s but each to their own. Be careful with the mods on the type r as with these cars theres a fine line from it looking decent and then chavvy.

To put how rare they are for a clean one back on 2006 you could pick a 3 year old one up for 7k with 50k miles now you stuggle to find a clean 2006 with less than 80k miles for that
Keep an eye on that new oil cap the replica ones have a tendency of working loose and going bye bye

His exhaust isn't stock. It doesn't have the twin pipe.

I had the same shift knob and oil cap on my milano red ep3.
I also fitted a uprated mugen radiator cap.
Another nice touch is to fit a black alacantara shift gaitor with the red stitching. Ties nicely in with the red and black interior 👍

Wash it in the rain that's what I do. Yes you can't dry it off if you don't have a garage but at least it's clean and the salt is off it. 👍
Just checked the weather again rains not going away this week so washing it anyway

Wait till it's a nice hot day and see how you feel about the gear knob then. The standard on would get properly hot in the sun so not sure how a black one will do.

Nice car man, some bonnet struts would be a small mod that will make working on your car easier and makes the engine bay look cleaner.

I had carbon fibre pattern on my centre console panels and the little panels on the inside door handle on my old sport. They look brilliant and would match the mugen gear knob👍

I think to keep the car looking presentable and classy, I’d recommend following an oem+ style of modification that way you make tasteful upgrades, and improve performance. And it’ll look killer!
Also the pre facelift lights all red look so much better

Retrim on the wheel will cost about £80 and will make it look like a brand new one but keep the feel of it. Worth looking into, could even get a red race line on it
