Annie, my wife made these today and they turn out great! The dough was perfect!!! Instead of using instant milk powder, she added liquid milk to the water. It is D-lious when freshly made. Thank you so much for sharing.

Hi Annie! I just want to say you're awesome! LOL! ^_^ I love the recipes that you cook! Thank you so much for sharing your talent! I've learned how to make Hmong Sweet Pork and Khaub Poob because of you! And I plan to make more of your recipes! I made these steamed buns a couple of days ago. I don't have a food processor so I just kneaded, and it still turned out pretty good. The dough was kind of dryer than yours but it was fine. Please post more videos when you have time! Thanks again!

I don't doubt your recipe or food.. But i'm curious if you have ever tried the flour packages for the steamed buns at the Asian market? I too don't have a food processor and would like one but it's one of many things that I need to buy. :). Thanks for the video and hope to see more!

You can use the store flour to save on time. It does taste a little different though. As far as steaming goes, you may need to buy a steamer

@DailyBread2007 This time I needed two hands so I used my Nikon dSLR camera to record this. It is not as convenient as my iPhone 4S but I do like the video quality of my Nikon. :-) Thanks for the compliment about my son. He's now 18 years old and this was an old song he recorded many years ago. I love him very much and wanted to pay tribute to the inspiration he is in my life. Cooking has always been a special gift I give to him.

@Beautyx3CHARM You can do it by hand, but you will have to knead the dough for at least 15 minutes to 20 minutes. If it is dry, add a few extra drops of water. If you don't knead it properly, it may turn out to be a tough dough and may not turn out the same once steamed. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out.
