9:32 I don't understand this excitement about the series Narcos. A friend once forced me to watch the first episode. He said: It was so great and funny. OK, it wasn't bad, but I didn't see the rest of it. Later I showed him a documentary called Cocaine Cowboys (2006). Sometimes funny and sometimes terrifying (the second half of the film). He still talks about how he wanted to show me Narcos, and I showed him something much better. It's on YT in the original and even with a Polish narrator and also with Spanish subtitles.
@@LAURIEKINGS I think you misunderstood the message. The series Narcos presents reality in a distorted mirror. Because of that, the image of Escobar doesn't look so scary. The film Loving Pablo (2017) based on a book by Escobar's former lover Virginia Vallejo entitled "Loving Pablo, Hating Escobar" is better. There, Escobar is better presented as a dangerous man. I mean, he wasn't the kind of man to admire, like Narcos does in a way. And it's a completely different thing to see a documentary in which real criminals speak. Some not entirely super dangerous like Mickey Munday or Jon Roberts, who mainly dealt with transporting cocaine, but also dangerous criminals like Jorge "Rivi" Ayala, who was a hitman for the stupid and very dangerous leader Griselda Blanco. When he talks about the murders, you can see in his eyes that they left "scars" on his psyche. But he wasn't completely bad. He, as the main hitman, was also able to disobey Griselda's orders. Once he killed a guy and his wife, but he refused to kill the children. Here in this documentary you can clearly see that these were not people to admire.
@@LAURIEKINGS In some a way, this is better. But also I literally said "Sometimes funny and sometimes terrifying". Anyway, watch it yourself, you'll see what I'm talking about and how it differs from series like Narcos. Simply judge for yourself Here's a version with Spanish voiceover: ua-cam.com/video/DY6pP1Xi1Wk/v-deo.html And here with Spanish subtitles: ua-cam.com/video/EPmNiwP8yL8/v-deo.html PS. It has a score of 7.7/10 on IMDB. Very high, and I agree with that rating.
Very good Blog😄
Great job ❤
