Good video bro. I do actually like this season, but I agree with pretty much everything you said
thanks so much!! i don’t dislike the season, but it is my least favorite of the series
Broo the amount of people using the kimko and frenchie plotline and saying this season is bad and how is the gore in the show getting boring like its the boys what do you expect 😒 😤 😑
Yeah I think there going to make season 5 the last or it will end up like 90 percent of shows that die out
i’m very glad they are making season 5 the last season. having that deadline will be really good
GOAT
you’re the goat

Season 2 🎉
Season 3 ❤️🔥
Season 4 your a fuckin disappointed
i hope english is your second language
idk how you missed the political commentary for three seasons straight. it’s always been a social-political commentary. it just started off focusing on nepotism and childish narcissism. now it’s dealing with the actual systems these industries have in play. don’t be upset because the show is mimicking real life. it’s like people complaining about south park when they turned garrison into trump
i didn’t miss the political commentary, i am specifically complaining about them putting more emphasis on that over story and character. that’s what i am upset about - i do not care one bit if they make fun of trump.
@@carterwalker nah it’s bigger than trump tho, and i think that’s the thing people are missing. this episode hit it best with nadia’s monologue about corporations having the power. ever since season one it’s always been about vought because they’re a monopoly, but what happens when a corrupt monopoly falls, and the other corrupt organizations beneath it are seeking control? there’s a lot of moral ambiguity with the factions to really develop before the final season, and also to end up doing spin offs i imagine.
i do get your point about it being more setting driven that character driven but i definitely don’t think they’re completely ignoring character. homelander and butcher are in my opinion going through one of the best arcs in the show, they’re moving paradoxically parallel and very close to their goals, but there’s that constant thought about if their goal is right. homelander wants his son to have a better childhood than he did, but wants to rule the world his way. butcher wants to do right by becca but wants the hell reality of superheroes to be over. that’s deep character stuff that they did beautifully, especially in homelander’s homecoming episode. i do feel like hughie is being wasted, i’m hoping they pay off what they set up with starlight so far, but i actually feel like this season is better than people are making it out to be. lobotomy and bdsm r*pe aside 🙄
i agree with a lot of your points. i did like the Sage and Neuman stuff this episode, and i agree that they are doing some great stuff with butcher and ryan. i think something that i didn’t expand upon in this video is that i am feeling a little burned out on the pattern of the show. it feels like a lot of the characters have plot armor and it is progressing the main story very slowly.
you make some great points though, and im very interested to see where the show goes next. i’m hoping it really ramps up in the next two episodes
