I love how simple it is to make this style of card, but it looks like it takes alot of effort! I think adding flowers around the sentiment on one of the sides would also be a nice embellishment. Thanks for the most perfect tutorial! 🩷 Suzy
This card is wonderful!!!! I plan to make this for Easter!!!!! These spring like colors will make great Easter cards!!! Thank you, Connie!!! And thank you for the download and diagram!!! That will come in very handy!!!!!!!!
What an easy way to create a fractured card! Love it! I keep alcohol pads easily available in my craft room to clean up adhesive & ink off my surfaces, especially my paper trimmer & scissors.
Enjoyed the rerun this week and ANOTHER fantastic different fun fold! I am having a ball with all of these Connie. Still making sets of Easy Swing Cards so have some catching up to do but with video reruns and your fabulous tutorials I never have to worry. Once again, THANK YOU!❤
Hello 👋 👋 from Wichita Kansas! catch your replay! Tugger is adorable! TYFS the PDF for the fractured card! I love how you make things simple but awesome!
Thank you so much Connie for the easy method. I have often seen these cards, but couldn’t figure out how to do them. You make it look so easy! And thanks for the diagram.
Very nice! I used this design idea (another demonstrator called it a faux shutter design) for hubby’s Valentine card. I didn’t cut extra pieces of DSP to put around the focal point diamond, I just adhered the focal point diamond and strips all to a nice piece of DSP then onto the card base. I used a popped up diecut in the diamond with a sentiment glued on below. He was impressed. 😊 I’ll keep your PDF guide for future reference!
Wow, Connie! I made a fractured card about a month ago but it was so much more work. I LOVE your simplified version. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful creativity 😊
Beautiful! It is our 26th Anniversary so I made it along with you. Yes the glue did get on the gold and your trick was amazing! I love it. Thank you so much for your constent happy insperation. I LOVE watching your videos. You ALWAYS make me smile!
Watching replay! Love both of your cards! That is a much easier way to create these cards. I will now give it a try! Thank you for both the download and this video! It helps tremendously!
Love, love, love the cards and thank you for the free download! Just another way to remove glue from foiled cardstock. I've used Q-tips, dampened, but I always seem to hit the cardstock, which can get wet. I've been using the smooth side of a swiffer cloth for several years. I just rub the foiled cardstock, until all fingerprints and glue are gone. Try it, I think you'll like it :)
OMG, thank you so very much for sharing that alcohal wipe tip!!! I'm always getting glue on the foil!!! Love the gold card, I will definitely be making that card for my son and daughter in laws Anniversary!!! ❤
Hi Connie. Watching replay from British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. Love these tips on the Fractured card. You’ve shared the best tips I’ve seen on this technique. Thanks very much.
Inspired for sure. These are beautiful cards. My son's 25th anniversary is coming up and I was thinking through what to make. This is PERFECT! Thank you Connie for your wonderful video's that inspire and teach us how to make beautiful cards. Because of the time you give and the creativity you teach I am a better card maker. THANK YOU!
👋🏾 thanks for such a super easy way to create the fracture card. I was looking for a spring card to send to my niece and this is perfect! I used white baker's twine and colored it w/lemon lolly blend bc I don't have the LL twine. Just move the twine and glide the blend along it...perfect!
I know its too late for the live show, but I use Q tips with a drop of alcohol to get glue off glossy paper. Its easier for my stiff hands and I have more control.
Connie, these are absolutely beautiful! I have seen fractured cards for a while now, and couldn’t have cared less about them. Just stopped the video, and found something to watch. Didn’t like any of them enough to even watch. Then today, I saw yours. And I am loving them. I now want to make them. Can’t wait to make the second one with the rose gold cardstock that I have left over from making the invitations for my son’s wedding. And I hope I already have the dsp from the first one. Just beautiful! Great job converting me!
I like how you simplified it but it seems like a awful lot of wasted paper. Is there any way that we can cut down that paper so we don’t waste so much? I like the pretty striped one that’s my favourite piece of paper in that pack.
Connie, being legally blonde drives me crazy, at times. I am watching your video just now for Fractured Cards, you say there is a Blue Button on every blog that says "Grab Your Free Download here." Please, where do I find the Blue Button. Hi Connie, if you click on enough buttons, you find something and I found these Fractured Cards, almost as fractured as my mind at the moment. Please tell me there is an easier way to find the free downloads. Thanks,E"

The reason I cut it the way I did and used the scoring lines was because I wanted to be precise with the 6" x 6" dsp. I am glad your hubby liked it.
Watching the replay. It’s one of my favorite cards and I couldn’t figure it out. Thank you. Love it!
I am so glad you love it.
Wow, Connie! I made a fractured card about a month ago but it was so much more work. I LOVE your simplified version. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful creativity 😊

I agree these are easy fracture cards.I love them. What days do you go live on You Tube?
I do Live on Thursday mornings. 9MT
Thanks for talking about your 4-legged children. I lost both of my dogs, 2 days apart last month. It's been really hard. 😢
Sorry to hear that, I am so happy that our little community supports one another.
Judy from NH, near Lake Winnipesaukee in the Alton Bay of the lake. Enjoy your day!
Thank you! You too!
The example looks like it is matted with gold and black paper behind the diamond. Is it? My favorite card
I see that you found your answer. Thank you so much for watching.
Valentine's Day was our 53rd wedding anniversary!
Happy Anniversary!
OK, I think I answered my own question, because I was like why do you have to score but it’s a guideline for the square/diamond.
Yep, exactly. It makes it so nice to have everything line up.
I know its too late for the live show, but I use Q tips with a drop of alcohol to get glue off glossy paper. Its easier for my stiff hands and I have more control.
That is a great tip. Thank you for sharing.

Hmmm, I am not sure what you mean by wasted. I tried really hard to use the paper in the most efficient way possible.
Lol, I should have waited to see the whole video. Oh da
Too funny!
I have a lot of paper
I hope you have some fun using it up.

I honestly don't know how to make it easier. The button is right below the blog post in my website featuring the card.
@@simplysimplestamping Not to worry, if I scroll down far enough, there is the download.
I've been wanting to try this card...thanks for making it simple. Love it.
I hope you will try it.
