- 11 Year old Kalolin Johnson performs at the closing ceremonies of the Jeux Du Canada Games, on February 27,2011. Kalolin Johnson performed the National Anthem in her native Language Mi'kmaq and also in English, and was accompanied by Anna Ludlow, Ryan MacNeil, and artists from the National Arts Program who performed their piece in French . The video footage was taken by the tsn network.

I'm part acadian it makes proud to hear our national anthem done in our first nations language.
I've heard it in cree too,warms my heart.

Canada is a bilingual Country the two main languages are English and French. Not that.

Does anyone have the written lyrics to O'Canada in Mi'gmaq (NB Mi'gmaq). I am getting a group of kids together to sing in English, French and Mi'gmaq at an opening ceremonies, and would like to lyrics for my kids to read.
