They became popular throughout West Africa, but ultimately re-located to the United States, leaving stardom behind. Now, decades later, Jess & Peter have found a new opportunity to share their music far and wide.

Je connais tout par coeur chaque tonalité de l'album. 1985 - 1987, il n'y a pas de jour où j'ai pas joué cest mélodies et Je me rappelle lorsque j'ai quitté le Togo pour l'Europe et que mes copains sont venus rendre visite à ma mère et quand ils sont rentés dans ma chambre, la première cassette que l'un d'entre eux a mis dans le lecteur c'est Jess et Peter et selon ma mère ils ont tous crié mon nom et des larmes ont coulé de leur yeux parce que on m'assimilait à cet album de Jess & Peter. Je viens de vous découvrir sur le net. toute cette nuit j'ai eu des larmes aux yeux en écoutant tout l'album. waooo ! j'adore

Since my 5 years old, my father played their music. Now, i can no longer separate me from this. I'm 24, and sometimes, when i have been playing their music, some friends say " Man, you're too young and you are playing such song". I reply in saying "Sorry you don't know good music, the good vibes". Thank for All to Jess Sah bi and Peter one.
I saw Peter One open for Jason Isbell in Shipshewana, IN. He sounded operatic. Such a rich voice. My favorite was a really sad song called Don’t Go Home. Peter doesn’t have much of an online presence, but if you get the chance, go see him
