    Vitaly's stop is the most impressive one, to be able to challenge Levan's wrist like that is very hard, I mean in the offensive position.
    Both Ermes and Devon were trying to survive in the defense, in addition Levan can press Ermes with triceps like he did with Devon and we saw how Devon beat Ermes with Triceps so it will work.
    The only person in superheavyweight who can potentially beat Levan is Vitaly.
    If Laletin gains weight and becomes around 150-160 kg and improves his side pressure which is difficult for him, then he might have a chance in about 1-2 years.

    I hope vitally continues to level up and faces Levan in the next year. I think he has the best chance of taking Levan to the losing side due to his speed. It would be interesting to see how Levan deals with that. If you just compare both their matches with Ermes (and Ermes was stronger against vitally) I think that even that version vitally could possibly take a round off of Levan although he wouldn’t win the super match. I would bet current vitally could take a round and I think within the year he may have a decent chance of winning although he wouldn’t be the favourite

  • @rasberrydefender1930

    If Ermes would have continued like in round three that means contesting centre of table with his toproll and then transition to the press, rather then how he tried after he got his first flop press stop, that he went straight to the flop press, I think Ermes could've won the match honestly.
    Therefore I also think his stop was the most impressive, cuz he genuinly defeated Levans arm and was the closest to winning the round, possibly then if he would do everything technically correct the match, that would be my thought.
    And Levan also wouldnt be able to like against Devon try to flop his own wrist, cuz Ermes is probably the most lethal armwrestler right now, if he controls the wrist

  • @dangosh3340
    @dangosh3340 13 днів тому

    Like you I think that Ermes’ stop was the most impressive because levan was in more danger. However, I can see someone argue for Devon. You can see levan couldn’t flop press with Ermes even though he was right there and looked like he was thinking about it. Levan later said that his weight was hindering him and that he fixed it and had a flop press if he needed for Devon. You can see in those stops with Ermes that he could’ve went for the flop press a couple times and ended it. I still see the arm power difference between Ermes and Devon. Devon couldn’t have pressed him down for a pin like Ermes so I think that Ermes’ stop is more impressive I was just saying that I could see someone’s argument. As we know that Levan gained the ability to flop press again after his match with Ermes. Either way holy hell isn’t it amazing that this guy is so good that the only thing we can talk about is who had the best stop on him and not pin let alone win

    Pause at 6:13
    This is the problem I see with the King's move: Devon's arm is 100% straight, or at least very close to it. As a general rule, maybe both elbows should stay above the pad to make things clearer for the judges. There’s way too much gray area in the rules, and when those rules are stretched or even broken, it can ruin the whole match and change the outcome.

Theres no way his wrist would have been able to toproll there. Levan has kinda same problem as Vitaly. They give way too much in the setup. Like looking back at revaz match. Revaz got most dirtiest setup ever.

    Devon's rematch in round 1 was not a real stop. Levan was simply holding center table in fear of cracking his own wrist if he surged right from the start. We can see that when Levan surges in the subsequent rounds, he has no problem pinning Devon without getting his wrist cracked all the way back.
