I watched this and was dissapointed there was no answers for those that want answers I provide the following advise. Current wait in 2023 for the Polish Government to review an application is approx 14-16 months. If you have most of the information cost for an agent like Polaron to assist me for myself and 2 children quotes ranged $3500 to $9000 Aud (this was 2 years ago) small agents sole traders were at the cheapest end and bigger companies at the top end. Allow another $500 for couriers and costs for your collection of documents from government agencies. The $3500 price included a request in Poland for up to 2 birth certificates and nothing more to pay for the application or follow up. I'm now 18 months in to the process and have a first request from the Polish Government at the 15 month mark for additional info which was provided and now waiting for a decision (my uncle had his confirmed 10 years ago with only 50% of the information I have so it should be a formality)

I dont understand!!! I am 100% Polish, all my grandparents grandparents born in Poland. Have my tree going back to 1700's.
But as I understand, since Poland was under Russian or Germany, that only if my relatives came here after 1919. My grandparents came between 1900 to 1910, so I am ineligible for citizenship.
So dont understand why you day, it depends on how many generations you need to go back.
