the thing with Randy playing the guitar, and the kids saying it was gay, according to the commentary for this episode, it actually happened to one of the guys who works on south park, apparently he saw his kids playing guitar hero, and he decided to do some pretty sick riffs on his guitar, and his kids pretty much said it was gay

10:59 South Park actually showed Mohammed as a member of the Super Friends in an earlier season, but, until this episode, no one cared about that.
He was also in the ending song for the "I'm a little bit country" episode, the "Smug Alert" and "The List" episodes, as well as the opening crowd scene for all of Season 6 with no issues. South Park Studios removed "Super Best Friends" as a result of it showing him. Crazy.. 😜
Yeah but the original episode with Muhammad was prior to that newspaper being blown up in France. Episode 200 and 201 came right on the heels of it. Even at that Trey and Matt still wanted to air the episodes uncensored, but Comedy Central wasn’t willing to risk it. The episodes ended a being their protest against the network and also served to let them bash on family Guy which was pretty much hated by all the adult cartoon creators.

Stan makes a good point. I came out as an Atheist to my Catholic family because I just never understood the religion. Plus I was a little creeped out seeing a naked dude on a cross.

It was the kind my mom bought when we took a trip to cedar point in the big yellow 1972 dodge station wagon. a huge boat of a car! a couple of us would get in the back section unbelted of course. no belts back there. I never would have imagined how precious that memory would be to me years later. such a great time in my life in the 70s. We were actually at cedar point on the day that Elvis Presley died in 1977. It was so strange, someone got on the PA system and actually announced it! I always loved going to Cedar Point in Sandusky. the smells, the sights all of it. the rides of course.

This is a really good question, it doesn't sound strange at all. I'd be lying if I said I was happy and positive all the time. I have my sad moments, down moments, just like like anyone, I think. But I think those moments make the stuff I enjoy that much happier.
I enjoy making videos, I enjoy watching South Park, too. So, when I get to make these videos I enjoy it as much as I possibly can.

@@maciek8159 Every language is hard to learn if you don't care, and it's easy if you enjoy learning.
If you study Japanese casually (but diligently) you can expect 5 years to reach fluency. If you are able to go full no-life you can do it in a year. Check out the channel MattvsJapan if you want to see someone who knows what they are talking about break down the most efficient study methods. If you aren't interested in learning Japanese specifically you should still check out Matt's channel because he gives a lot of great insight into language learning in general. You don't need to travel to Japan either.
All you really need is an Anki deck and anime though. Ignore people who tell you learning from anime is bad. They speak weird, but it's Japanese and you will hopefully be learning enough to identify what phrases are not for every day life.

Coloring Easter eggs goes back to the Pagan Holiday of Eostre (Easter took its name from the pagan goddess Eostre - the goddess of spring and fertility) and is celebrated at the spring equinox. The christians appropriated the holiday to easily convert the pagans. Coloring the eggs, Maypole dancing and the Rabbit were all symbols and activities during the holiday.
Traditionally, eggs were hard boiled then marked with symbols of strength, fortune, fertility etc. using wax and then hidden. Once an egg was found, they would dye it to see the symbol. They would then eat the egg because marking an egg with a rune or symbol gave its power to the egg and eating it was believed that the consumer would then take that power into themselves to enhance their lives. Much like eating a communion wafer.

It was 1998 and in the little town of Auburn Indiana sat a ponderosa steakhouse off of interstate i-69. I was a 15 year old dishwasher just learning the ways. My boss which was a very nice and also comedic man came to the back and said Kyle you’re coming with me. I dropped what I was doing and followed him to the cardboard box pile as he began to rummage through them. He finally found one that he picked up and then told me to grab a deep fryer ladle and the restroom closed sign we would place in front of the door while we did routine restroom cleanings. This was beginning to make me wonder what he had planned, the look on his face was honestly of shock and I could tell he was somewhat panicking with how urgent he was making this out to be. He then said follow me, as we preceded to walk out into the dining area and then toward the restrooms I started to feel like this was extremely odd. He told me to stand the sign up in front of the men’s restroom door and after I did I then followed him through the door. Once inside he turned to me and said I’m sorry that you have to see this but I had to have a witness because no one will believe me when I tell them this story. I was confused and said what story almost laughing. He then pointed to the middle toilet stall and said go look. Still confused I opened the stall door and looked inside. While not seeing anything initially I then looked into the toilet. What I saw was terrifying! It was the biggest turd known to man! It sat upright barely leaning on the side of the toilet wall almost totally sticking out of the water. This thing was the size and shape of a nerf football! It had to weigh 10 pounds (roughly 9.6 Courics) at least! I honestly thought it was not real until he then scooped it up with the ladle and placed it in the box and then I could smell it. He then closed the lid on the box and we exited the restroom walked through the dining area and then out the back door to the dumpster. That’s the last I saw of it(and the ladle). I still don’t know how someone could birth that without bleeding or need medical attention!

i remember going to see that movie in the theater. twice! back in the good old days when you could go see a movie at meridian mall and the concessions were actually cheaper than the price of a movie ticket. the price of just a popcorn and soda now is insane! I mean really insane! most of the time i don't even buy concessions anymore on the rare occasion i go to a theater now. its sad. there were some advantages to growing up in the 70s and 80s. its just sad and depressing to be in 2022 now. 2022 sucks. the world is a big turd now. not even close to when i was young.

Man have times change. When I was a kid my mom had a yell at me to get back into the house. I'd spend too much time riding my bike or playing in the snow. Now you have to force kids to get out of the house.
I kinda have to agree with stand. Socializing is socializing is socializing, no matter which way, shape, or form.
Easter is really a pagan holiday called Astara. It is about the May Queen and the fertility Goddess giving back life to Nature after the winter. Hence the eggs and the easter bunny, both symbols of fertility and new birth. Christianity in attempting to convert the people stole many of the pagan holidays and replaced the symbolism with Christian symbolism, cause people were unlikely to give up their holidays. The pagan original holidays or feasts were to celebrate the seasons and nature. Hence Astara became Easter, Yule became Christmas, and so on.
Ok… a lot of us “believers” have known this for years and thus refuse to celebrate the holidays. However, I haven’t lost my faith but have given the title “Christian”. Most churches are about following traditions, not the book they claim to follow. We are different faiths but I hope we can find some common ground here.

About the Easter eggs; like most Christian tidbits, it's actually a Pagan thing. Don't be sour or scared, it's just that traditions get co-opted when you're making religions up as you go along and you need to convert people from their old rituals to the new.
Blueberry with butter was always my favorite Poptart. I've been overseas for 15 years now and things like poptarts are just a fond memory from a distant past, like Jello Pudding, Cool Whip and Cholula hot sauce.😂

The last time I had P.F. Chiang's was when I was eight. I'm only 16 now so it's not as long as it sounds, but I've never had it again because the nearest one is pretty far from my house. Man, now I'm hungry.

Easter comes from the pagan holiday Ostara which welcoming spring and honors fertility. Hence eggs and bunnies. It was co-opted by the Catholics to appeal to the new former pagan converts. It’s things like that which led Luther to start the reformation. The Catholic take on the egg is that it represents the Trinity.

They actually have done a red velvet cupcake poptart. I work st the local Walmart and yes iv stocked it many times. Must not be very good we don't sell a whole lot and I know red velvet cake is good.
Also, the chasing dragon game was off the guitar hero episode. It was a spoof off those who start playing instruments and start doing dope with the term "chasing the dragon" which just means chasing the high. When you do a drug for the first time, that's the "highest" you will ever get and so alot of addicts end up "chasing the high" but will never feel that same way again unless they get their tolerance way back down by not doing it for a while.
I only went to PF Chang's once, felt little too fancy for me. But not bad as I recall.

That whole rabbit secret society is so silly. Trust me, that's not the reason behind the Easter Bunny and the colored eggs and the chickens. What's going on is something that happened in history where, back in the medieval times, when the Catholic Church was trying to convert the rural people of Europe to their religion, they originally did Inquisitions and burned people at the stake and hung them because they wouldn't convert. But, when that didn't work--either because people just died, staying loyal to their own faith, or just lied to get out of the torture--the Church decided to merge the old traditions with the story of Jesus on the cross.
The reason for the bunny, the colored eggs, and the chickens, is an ancient tradition going back thousands of years. In old Germanic lore, there was a fertility goddess named Ostara, and there was a special rabbit that was sacred to her. The reason it was so special was because it was a rabbit who could lay eggs, colorful ones. Even more special about it was that it was a male rabbit. So, Ostara took it as her symbolic animal that represented her influence in the world. Chickens also lay eggs, yes, and are a typical symbol for the season of Spring.
Same kind of thing happened with Christmas. Old Pagan religious traditions were merged into Catholic ones, all so the local Pagan people would follow the Church. The most famous things about Christmas outside of the Nativity are Pagan in origin, also from Germany. The tree, the Yule Log, Santa Claus, getting presents, the reindeer, stockings on the fireplace, going charolling, practically everything is from older traditions. People nowadays in the Church like to say that Santa was actually a Turkish saint named Nicholas, but that's not Santa. Santa was based off of an old Germanic god, can't remember which one. Probably some version of Odin, with some British influences, and mixed in with other stuff, until you have the Christmas mascot of today.

Easter comes from the germanic/norse ostara festival. It celebrated spring coming to the icy lands of the tribes, after a long cold winter. One of the customs was searching for eggs and painting them as decoration, as the birds were starting to lay them again. When the Roman Catholic Church banned all paganism and other religions and beliefs, the Ostara festival got replaced by christian Easter. The same happened with Christmas, which was the Yule festival, happening around the winter solstice. Why do you think you put a tree in your living room? Never thought about that?

I just realized a couple extra layers here...
They said 1 Katie Couric is equivalent to about 3 lbs of excrement... for someone Katie's size that would imply that she was "full of crap" (1lb per 200 being standard).
Also (on the subject of Randy's crap being the only thing he created), and a bit controversial, I realized that according to law (especially on the topic of abortion) it could easily be said that if a fetus isn't considered to be a living human being then no man is actually responsible for the life of any human being... only the fetus which is considered neither. The woman is therefore the only one of the two that directly contributes to producing offspring. It's actually a pretty smart argument, and I imagine it would probably break a ton of systems in place if it were ever made (that's probably a big part of the reason it hasn't been... yet).
You were wondering why we color and hide eggs on Easter. It's clearly explained by a passage in the Bible.

Not family were sheltered. My mom only bought the maple brown super cause she liked them. I was and adult before I knew there were more flavors. Just like captain crunch I didn't knwo there were more then just peanut butter til I bought my own food at 16. so they are my favorites! Haha
