But life span is a really relative term: there are creatures on our planet that live much shorter lives than us humans, and those who outlive all of us by far… while some are close to immortality. Mayfly has the shortest lifespan on Earth - 24 hours or less. Greenland shark lives over 270 years. It's the longest-living vertebrate. But there are creatures who live over 2,000 years or even... forever! Yup, one of them is biologically immortal. It can go back to being polyp and grow up again infinitely...

Crocs can live much much longer than 95 years, we don't actually know what their life expectancy is. Some theories state they don't actually age biologically and very old crocs are just as physically capable as young crocs. Same thing with lobsters.
Do you have any reason or a research study website for the theory of crocs not aging biologically.

Technically many species of housecat in general can live up to 30 years, the oldest I've read about was 38, the breed that has no hair, can't think of the name, my dog, brandy is 16, she's still quite active, last year she stopped eating for a while and I thought she was coming to her final days, so I changed her food, and bam, she became excited for dinner time again, mileage may vary for most of us here on earth I'd say lol

What's lovely about this video besides the facts of the lifespans are the details of the horizontal and vertical arrows as indicators for the height and length and the location mark on the map on the habitats. And the animals' sounds along with the background colour change (yellow & blue) indicating land & water. Simply superb. 👏

For the guinea pig, that's actually not true.
When my dad got me guinea pigs for my 6 or 7th birthday (I can't remember, and yes their still alive) the worker told us that they can live up to 8 years, but usually live up to 5 or 6
that's an _average._ it says humans live 68 -73 years. the oldest person to ever live was 122 when she died
Eat healthy, do exercise, take vitamin tabs and sleep well. That's what I've done and it's my 90th birthday next week. 😊

I had a goldfish that lived 10yrs. Nowhere close to 40 but pretty long. He got pretty big living in a 5gal tank by himself.
