I'm curious what some examples of an "adhesion promoter" is that you wiped on prior to sticking on the new strip?
Good morning, thank you for your inquiry. You can obtain the following from Amazon and what is used in the video. Alcohol used to prep is enough but we recommend the promoter since the light strip is subjected to high winds. 3M 4298 Adhesion Promoter, comes with 5 sponge applicator. Thank you!

Can the front leds be put on the same circuit as the awning led lights so I don't have to turn on the front with the rocker switch?

Has anyone found a site to purchase these other than Trekwood? Keystone will not sell direct.
Do you have to take off the whole front cap to do a light replacement or ca you do it with the cap in place ?

What do you do when the hole is too small for even the red butt connectors and/or they are siliconed from the inside?

What is the adhesive remover? I’ve tried everything and have now messed up the top coat of the paint 😢

So how do u recover the wires if they fall in the hole???
You don’t unless you pull off the front cap. It is the reason you only cut one wire at a time.
The bigger Challenge I've found is WHERE DO YOU BUY THE REPLACEMENT LED LIGHTS?

So what is the gauge of the wire TELL ME. why do I need to guess
Good Morning! Normally the wiring to the lights is a 14 gauge and the wiring from the lights is either 16 or 18 gauge. It can vary depending on who the vendor of your specific lights are. If you have any further questions on this please do call our customer care team at 866-425-4369. Thank you!

What to do if the wire slipped inside the cap
Good Morning! If the wire slips inside you can sometimes fish this out by using a tool that could hook the wiring. If for some reason you are still unable to get this out, we would then recommend that you contact a local Keystone dealer near you to properly fix this! Thank you.

How to replace the round LED lights, not the strip.

I was referring to the round lights in the front cap. My front cap has small round blue LED lights, not the light strip.
I am replacing mine tomorrow, I will solder and heat shrink the wiring. I don’t trust butt connections.
What is the length of that led strip?
