I'd love to know why Catriona didn't wear coloured contacts so her eyes were the colour of "verra fine whiskey"? You'd think if they do wigs etc, they could've made her eyes the colour that Claire's are supposed to be. Seems important in the books anyway...
I personally think that the extreme close up shots we would see the contacts. I know as a photography teacher, with close focus I can see contact lenses easily. I am older, but have great eyesight. I appreciate it's the real irises.
Contacts that change the color of your eyes will damage your eyes if you wear them longer than 3 hours a day. I’m sure they didn’t want to deal with only being able to film 3 hours versus overlooking a small detail like eye color.
At this point every actor in the primary cast wears a wig (or hair pieces a/o extensions) for their onscreen role in Outlander. I know this because there's been a ton of discussion on said wigs and their overall quality and fit (or lack thereof) over the past 8 years the show has been in production. When it comes to wigs it should *never* be apparent that an actor is wearing one (unless it's part of the story) and sadly that hasn't always been the case with Outlander. A proper fit is essential and that means blending the wig with the actors existing hairline to make it look real. A great example of this was Julianna Margulies in The Good Wife. Julianna wore wigs throughout that entire series and for the first two seasons nobody knew she was wearing one because the wigs were *that* flawless and real looking. Seasons 1 & 2 of Outlander were fantastic in the hair dept while season 3 was hit and miss, especially towards the end of the season. Season 4 was a hot mess from start to finish. Several of Catriona Balfe's wigs in particular throughout seasons 3 & 4 were just atrocious and very badly fit. Sophie Skelton's wigs didn't look much better than Cait's and even Sam Heughan has worn a few bad wigs over the last few seasons. Happily it would appear that someone in the shows production team caught wind of the online mockery and saw fit to vastly improve the quality of the wigs in season 5. It's still not perfect (which is crazy considering the massive budget the show has) but it's a big improvement from seasons 3 & 4. Hopefully season 6 continues on this path and doesn't muck it up again. 🤞

The WORST thing about this show is that it is Impossible for TWO blued eyed people to HAVE A BROWN EYED CHILD ! So this tells us that Breana is NOT Jamie's daughter .. Only a FOOL would not know this about EYE COLOUR !!! .
Catriona does look like it is her first role. I knew it from the very beginning. She was very unlikeable for me for a long time, I literally think she learnt to act during the series. With less nudity a better actress could and should have been cast. Brianna's hair dye is way too dark, again, a proper redhead should have been cast. She's good as an actress and likeable though.
Oh this is interesting because I feel the exact opposite. I think Catriona does an excellent job, bringing emotion and passion into her performance but Sophie Skelton was extremely unlikeable with little range in expression. The way she speaks made it clear she was not an American and I feel like a lot of her energy goes towards maintaining her accent rather than focusing on expression
I loved the first series of Outlander - until the Battle of Culloden and Claire goes back through the stones, but I find the 2nd series is really stretching the narrative too far. (My husband calls it, milking the skinny goat.) How could a small band of people (the main characters, naturally) survive so many disasters: hurricanes, illnesses, hangings, fires etc? Claire’s character becomes unbearable - especially for a time-traveler who should know better than to be an opinionated, overbearing woman in the 18th century. I marvel that she’s missed the ducking stool and the scold’s bridle. Jamie fares no better. For a man who fought the Redcoats, it’s shocking that he becomes a turncoat, befriends the British, takes thousands of acres from them and is essentially a double agent Not a very honorable thing for a man claims to be so honorable. I would not want this self righteous couple in my social circle.

Brianna/Sophie looks so much better with red hair then her really (?) dark hair! :-))
Fraser, not Frajer sweetie
I make it a mission to never watch anything from people who lie with the thumbnail...
started to watch then you could not pronounce Fraser or Hueghan!!!!!!!!
I always thought that Caitríona looked like a mature version of Bella Hadid
I love Bella Hadid! She's amazing :)
This is not cast reveal as you mentioned in your title this is just you talking about each cast member and you're research
Did they wear wigs. This was after dye jobs and permanents didn’t work so well.
In season 1 Caitrona had her hair permed and Sam’s was dyed red. After that, it was wigs all the way.
This season they all had wigs\
Pues a mí no me gusta nada cómo han caracterizado el pelo de Claire se nota demasiado que son pelucas el pelo no me gusta nada
She’s marvellous
Many misspoken statements in this report. Do not believe everything you hear and don’t repeat it as factual.
Oy! It's FRASER not Frasier!
Check your facts 😉
Sam looking bizarre what?!?!?
didn't talk once about the title shown
It's pronounced Jamie Fray-zer - not Jamie Frayzshier. Please pronounce it properly!
Click bait is so unnecessary. This is a good video and you at least pronounce the names properly. Thanks
Hago comentarios respetuosos ustedes debieran responder de la misma manera,he solicitado en varias oportunidades que traduzcan las entrevistas al Español,no todo el mundo habla inglés.
Blackjack was a sexy beast...too bad he had to die so early...he should have been the antagonist, through the entire series...
His name is Fraser, not Frasier.
Season 6 .. is a dud
Think so? I'm enjoying it 😌
Cait increible!!!!!!🧡💋💋💋
Also they don’t dye their hair it’s 1000% wigs
Not really okay with the click bate as it had nothing to do with the video
Not Balfe’s first role. Old crap here.
I feel sorry for the victims of sexual assault who just wanted to see the trailer of the show.
Hate stupid clickbates designed for perverts. Is this you or your audience?
The hair is a wig. They don’t color their hair. 🙄
Any way short Tv series is always the best from 1-to 2. With Outlander it became out of focus with the stories and their acting performance.
Bizarre???? What planet are you on.
reported
The gum chewing ruined the whole damn thing...
So irritating everytime he says Frasier. It is pronounced Frazer. I should know since it is my name and I'm Scottish
Your first 'secret' is already false. Catriona did already have some small roles in other movies like the devil wears prada and now you see me.
3 'secret' also false. Thay only dyed their hair until season 3. You show all photos of the wiggs thay used from season 3 and up.
This is the second video i watched on your channel and both times you use a trick in the thumbnail that isn't even about your video. You're not a dedicated youtuber. You're just a clickbait addict. Never gonna watch this channel again.
The WORST thing about this show is that it is Impossible for TWO blued eyed people to HAVE A BROWN EYED CHILD ! So this tells us that Breana is NOT Jamie's daughter .. Only a FOOL would not know this about EYE COLOUR !!! .
many repetitive remarks
This is way overrated
What the hell is happening at 5:53 ?
