Man I FREAKING love Evanescence to death, they are amazing and Amy lee's voice is flawless. i love this song of theirs and it is super hard to sing but wow i gotta say that casey does justice to it! :D
@FrozenCompass She didn't waste it. It provided experience and a foundation for her career. She now has a successful stage show, got rave reviews for her part in 'The Sapphires' with two Sydney theatre nominations and won best supporting actress at the Deagu Musical Theatre Festival. Next she will play Mama Cass in the stage play 'Flowerchildren - the Mamas and the Papas story.'
The audience voted for her but the music industry dumped her she should have become an international star....but what a beautiful woman she has become 💖💖💖
So sad that Casey looks so sad. That was where she was at, at that stage of her young life. So sad. Now in 2024 she successful and strong and most importantly HAPPY! This song was about technique and not ideal for her. She did manage a smile at the end after singing this dirge more suited for a funeral. Casey did not like thinking about the future. She thought she had nothing to look forward to in life. How things changed. She is a great role model for troubled young teens and twenties. Go Casey! 3:43

In the first half of 2010 she toured nationally with the musical 'The Sapphires' getting rave reviews and won a Best Supporting Actress Award. She has a new single 'Big, Beautiful & Sexy' and a tour of the same name. She's been nominated for two Deadly awards and plans to release an album early 2011.
@stefgi32 Record execs are not always the best judges of talent or musical worth. Let's not forget that record execs also gave contracts to Insane Clown Posse, William Hung, and Lil' Wayne... just to name a few...

She's a talented singer. I admit that I like Amy Lee's voice better, but you have to have talent to hit that highest note (the E above top C.) You people degrading Casey, or Amy Lee, for that matter; you try hitting that note sometime.

Anthony Callea should of won easy. Don't know what the fuck everyone was thinking. Where is Casey now? At the Northern Territory? I saw Anthony Callea last night on Carols by Candlelight and he sung amazingly even better than he did in 2004. He would of come so far but she ruined it with her 1 hit wonder.
