- After all these years I still find it hard to get to sleep before a day of adventure gliding, just like a kid at Christmas! Thanks to Nympsfield and Trevor's Ridge Rats for again providing all the right ingredients for an epic soaring experience!

I know Matt 'Balleka' is no longer with us... but what a guy, love his videos.. i have wanted to fly for 25 years and have now had 8 lessons in a glider and joined a great club.. this man inspired me to pull my finger out n get flying... thank you
Beautiful! I had my first ever ridge flight today, on the Mynd.
That is just beutiful thanks for all the great videos you make me hope to get in the air again soon
Awesome video, I think this year for my birthday I'm going to have to take a ride in one. Your videos inspire me! Thank you.
Whoop, those houses were getting pretty big when you reached that ridge line. :) Love the burble over the road.
Great soundtrack you picked for this video.
Not bad. I was watching you guys, sitting in the office, and being envy. Pity I couldn't go there that day. Unfortunately there were not many good weekends for ridge this (winter) season.
Expert in flyby congrats!
Just another incredibly, amazing video. I felt at times I was flying along with you. Gotta love the tail cam!
AMAZING video(s)
Why isn't it April already >:(
I wanna fly too
Great video!! :)
I have a question about gliding , a normal glider like this how much time can still in the air? also how much distance it can fly ?
+Balleka wow nice , thanks for answer :D
Nice! :-)
What kind of camera did you use?
Had to laugh at the opening dialogue lol
are the camera on your tail loose? Great vid!

I thought the same, there is a lot of movement of the glider relative to the camera. Maybe the way it has been edited to stop you feeling a bit air-sick!
Nice wake up call! :¬)
.
A technical question for you. What's that sticky out thing on the tail?
+wordreet That's the Braunschweig tube for the total-energy variometer or something like that
Péter Pupics I guess we all need one of those as we get older.
+wordreet
at a guess, probably a barometer type device to measure air pressure. Im sure Balleka will tell us
Xantec Heh, yes, he did, three+ hours ago. ;¬)
+wordreet That thing sticking out of the vert. stabilizer, below the camera, is the tube with the pressure probes for the TotalEnergy Variometer, the instrument that tells your climb/sink rate
and / or the Pitot tube, depending on the glider
Orrible music Match
horrible music dose not go with this video ❌
+Christopher Turner 😂😂😂 okay and? lol
