    Great video explaining process to setup and calibrate this sight. MUCH better than Garmin did!
    Question, When I’m trying to align the laser reticle it’s hard to see. The red laser reticle is not a clear red dot but a blurry blemish distorted area. I’m wondering if it’s the sight or might be my old eyes. ?

    I just bought the A1i Pro. The range finder was giving crazy ranges. Garmin wanted me to send it back. My Burris Oracle had no issues with the range finder. It was super accurate.

    I think that I am ask really legitimate question, I have seen the garmen zero a1i or unless it's being referred to the zero a1pro,, I for one, I would like to have some contact information, and I have also a suggested price of
    $1300.00 ,,and I say why, if there's that many people out who don't really care about how much money they put into their tackle, this is ridiculous, that's just way to much money

    So If you do not set fix pins and want one pin. Do you just keep calibrating the distance? Will it keep adjusting every range

    • @ClausBoHansen
      @ClausBoHansen  4 роки тому +1

      Nate H The “standard” operating mode is one pin, which will match whatever distance you measure with the laser. The setup process will ensure that you can get solutions all the way out to the longest distance you calibrated. Fixed pins are optional.

    I want to set pins out to 100 yards and need to know if you can set your 20 yard pin very high in the window of the sight? I guess that would be my primary pin right? That way I can set more pins out to farther distances and in my case hopefully out to 100 yards

    • @ClausBoHansen
      @ClausBoHansen  4 роки тому

      Dwane Hudson Correct, you can set 20 high, thereby leaving more room for longer shots.

    Do you still use peep sight with this? And for yardages in between known ranged distances, does the pin show up for that exact distance? For example, ranges of 10 yard increments, if a target is at 47 yards does it know how to accurately display a pin at that distance? What's the difference in the two models? Can you change the pin colors?

    • @ClausBoHansen
      @ClausBoHansen  4 роки тому

      Discount Garage Doors Inc Yes, I still use the peep sight.
      After ranging, you one pin, which is exactly for that distance. The more expensive model can change color of pins, store multiple arrow profiles and a few other tricks.

    I didn’t set my max distance far enough , and I need to reset my fixed pin distances as well, how to I get that menu to come back? Or do I have to reset the whole sight?

    • @ClausBoHansen
      @ClausBoHansen  5 років тому

      Curt Cowan Yiu don´t have to reset. Just go Manual Adjustment -> Move Calibrated Range Stack. Then use the the straight rails to zero in again. See www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/xerobowsight/EN-US/GUID-FBFD4E18-CEB8-43D9-B579-2ABF1DDA468B.html for details. Now you have room for longer distances, add more with Calibrated Ranges -> Add Range

  • @shanelester9000
    @shanelester9000 4 роки тому

    When setting the primary pin the display says: "set pin using vertical and horizontal rails". Underneath of which it has the options of "Done" and "Move Pin." What is the purpose of the option to "move pin?" According to the manual if I move this pin it will reset all arrow profiles. Just starting out, how do I know where I want it to be? Do I want it high, middle or low in the site?

    • @ClausBoHansen
      @ClausBoHansen  4 роки тому

      Shane Lester If you are planning on long shots or have slow/heavy arrow, you might consider a higher first pin to allow for more drop.
      The con is that your target might be obscured by the top of the sight.

  • @tonyallen8626

    So now that sight will give you a pin for any distance between 15 and 55 meters, for example if I range something at 33 meters it will display a pin for that distance?

    • @ClausBoHansen
      @ClausBoHansen  4 роки тому

      Hi Tony,
      Yes, you are exactly right. It will display a pin for any distance you measure, of course unless the target is so far away, that it’s not possible to show the pin in the display.

      Hi Brandon,
      I only see a few arrows. The image I added to the film is to give an an understanding of the arrows and the circle. Sorry I was not clear on that. You should just see one or two arrows, which will help you slide the sight in the correct direction. Once adjusted, you only see the green circle and the red dot.
