N Apostrophe T - The Electric Company

I think the original poster of this video got their channel terminated. Sorry, and I hope they're doing well. I was unsure whether I should list this as 'for kids' since I love reading what other Lehrer fans have to say. Electric Company IS appropriate, of course. In case you're fumbling over whether or not you should hand your phone over to your kid with this blasting.
N Apostrophe T is by far my favorite song I've heard from Lehrer's time on Electric Company. Lehrer's writing is always charming, and I love how he never talks down to kids (EC was good at this in general, from the episodes I've seen).

I grew up in the 70s and watched The Electric Company every day. For some reason this song popped into my head today and I wanted to hear it. Thank you UA-cam! I also loved the lollipop song and "Sweet, Sweet Sway", among others.

I was born in the 2000’s and remember my parents had an entire dvd set of this, I used to listen and watch these all the time. Now that I’ve grown, I recently re-discovered Tom Lehrer and I’ve been literally hooked! This is a great reminder of my childhood!

Really a charming and actually touching song and I have to salute the Electric Company for showcasing interracial relationships in this and other skits way back in the early '70s. However, I can't agree with your choice of this as "by far" your "favorite" Lehrer contribution to the Electric Company canon. "Silent E" forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Silent E" is a good one, too! The Electric Company was a pretty progressive show for the time, from what I've seen, so I agree- definitely something to salute!

That was fun. I remember The Electric Company. The dress was definitely a girl's size. Hopefully it didn't rain with those white tights. Jim did introduce some of the episodes on the DVD. He looked very different. Sadly, Lee didn't participate in the release. RIP to both of them.
