I got my Auto Tumbler Heat Press during black Friday and have ruined 3 metallic tumblers and two snowglobe glass mugs. I see in this video there is ghosting on the 20oz tumblers. Is this a defect of this heat press? I want help before I opt to return this heat press.
Sometimes it can be the mug itself that may require different time and temperature. Saw a video of a mug being done in less than a minute for about the same temp. Generally most require 380-400F even. Also the sublimation paper itself may have a different spec depending on manufacturer. It is a very tricky craft to get into.
In some cases when there’s ghosting, some people who expect it they sometimes try heat pressing just the edge (top or bottom, where ever the bevel is) and it helps gets those rounded edges. Since it’s not flat it won’t get the same amount of contact as the flat sides. Some people also roll the edges on a table top while it’s still hot to aid the transfers to the substrate.
I got my auto press and used it today for the first time. Screwed up two tumblers so far and I’m not very happy. This video is different instructions than the manual that came with it. Which one is right?
What cup type, temperature, and duration?
I did a 20 oz tumbler at 390 degrees for 240s just like the video says turning it 180 degrees and press start button again for same setting.@@HTVRONTOfficial
What type of submission printer to use along with the auto press. Also for mugs and tumblers and suggestions on the paper and supplies along with the auto press. I'm a beginner. I need to know my supplies. I have my own design

Does it fit 15oz mugs please?
I just made an order of 50 mugs. The tumbler press did not take 15 oz mugs. I had to use my Cricut mug press, and I was upset. Waste of money.
Hello, what printer is compatible
Some people convert an epson ET 8550 and use Hippo sublimation ink. The paper also has to be sublimation paper.
Hippo ink also requires an ICC profile for the printer. With what I experience with the ET8550 I had to use different settings that what the community recommended in most videos and forums… got the Epson surecolor F570 sublimation printer, and I honestly love it. It is more expensive but it gets the job done and comes with a software to layout and set print jobs. Comes with the required ink needed for sublimation too. Worth the money.
This video is confusing when there are so many that use different timing settings for the exact same coffee cup.. it's a waste of supplies
Don't worry🤗, we will give the unused cups to those in need
I only have a cpl 20oz tumblers.. and I didn't receive ready to press sublimated sheets to practice with my machine as it said was suppose to come with..(because I don't have a sublimation printer yet)
how do I know if the timing settings are long enough or too long?..
Yes it is not automatic.
im from the uk ive tried using ur times ect and wasting mugs, there not giving good quality at all
