Kimmy I hope you know just how amazing and motivating you and your videos are. I woke up in a funk today, feeling especially weighed down by negative DMs I'd received. I was ready to just stay in bed ALL day when I turned this video on... after a few mins of watching I got out of my bed (made the bed 😉) and started getting ready for the day while watching you make soup! I put my make up while watching you make cookies and by the end I the video I had a new determination to tackle the day. ❤

You always look beautiful Kimmy with or without makeup. One thing I have learned is to have the attitude of “I get to do this” whatever it maybe, something for my kids, for my work, for my home instead of “oh I have to do this”. Gratitude and giving value to everything you do changes your mood and attitude towards it and you always show it in your videos. I definitely need to learn how to make those yummy dinner rolls at home ❤️❤️
I had a day like this yesterday. Had some comfy clothes on, my apron and just littered about cooking and doing laundry. Was so peaceful :) making that bread today for sure, have the sister missionaries coming over for dinner so sure it will go down well

A day like this, is just perfect! I remember, when my kids were little, and I could just "live" in my house, doing all the things that made me happy. So soothing, and satisfying. BTW, ditch the dreaded sock basket. Once my kids were old enough, to match their socks, they did their own. Chris only wears gold toe socks, black, white, and dress..... So much easier. lol

Those Sketchers are super comfortable! I walked miles all over the French Quarter in New Orleans in them and my feet NEVER ached! I've worn only that kind since! I'm going to practice more with the bread. Mine ALWAYS are so dense no matter what I do! They taste good just dense. I am able to make absolutely anything else, just not bread!

Savor that sock basket.....for one day it will be almost empty......when my kids were little but just in school I used to every Sunday do all the laundry from the weekend.....then after the kids went to bed I would sit with a hot tea or a diet pop and watch one of my favorite shows and just match and fold socks for an hour........now my babies are grown and there is no more sock basket.....I miss those days......but I tell you I smile when I go to my kids home and see a big pile of baby socks.......so savor those moments......they will be gone before you know it

I have a few bad days. I have anxiety and bipolair disorder. so i do mine best. Everything is so hard for me now. I hope to shine again soon. The rolls are looking good. But mine husband, son and i may not. I don't want gluten and mine husband may not have white bread because of sugar disease. but it looks so nice. oh and the cookies. I can literally and figuratively eat sick of that kind of cookies. mjam mjam.
I want to thank you for showing the normal household. And how it can be nice to just do your thing. And you can be proud of your homemade food and snacks. I think that is very important because often now you are done so unrealistically on youtube. lots of love ellen

My house is so far from looking as good as yours, but I'm trying. Went to Penny for Pearls and subscribed. She seems interesting. The only thing I don't like, is that she has her comment section turned off. The Griffiths also do the same. Yes, 2nd thought though was why are they in a cabinet below when they get so much use, they should be up, to cut down on the bending over!
@@crystaltelf288 mine are in a lower cabinet because the counter I use them on most doesn't have upper cabinets over it. All of my upper cabinets are across the kitchen.

This is my day today, just being home. I’m making a vegetable bean soup today because my husband and I are not feeling good today! I think I’m gonna make dinner rolls with our soup too and those cookies look very good! Today is definitely comfort food

I use my kitchen aid to shred up my chicken. Didn’t know it could be used for this until my sister in law showed me. It has been a HUGE time saver!
I have made your soup a few times I put the pasta in when the soup is done and switch it off it’s soo good thanks for the recipe. Take care and god bless you x
A few cool things i use my kitchenaid for: shredded a bunch of chicken fast. just throw whole, cooked chicken in the bowl, put the paddle attachment on and let it go! I find it works best with hot, fresh out of the crock pot/instant pot. I also use it to make mashed potatoes. I cook them in the crock pot, then i put them in my mixer bowl with some milk and the paddle attachment. Does a pretty good job!

I make my oatmeal cookies with chocolate covered raisins. It's the best of both worlds.

Just a little FYI when you hang damp or wet kitchen towels over the cabinet doors you run the risk of mold on the cabinets. The only reason I know this is because it happened to me lol. They make hangers you put over the cabinet to hang your towels on.
