On 24th Dec, I picked up a Honda City from Phuket Airport. And on 4th Jan I dropped the car in Suvarnabhumi Airport. No one way drop charges! During this tenure, it costed me 10,880 THB. Another 3000 THB for full cover insurance, commonly called SCDW. Company was Hertz! It was a lovely 2000kms driving experience! And I love such western style driving. Upon returning, feelings so difficult driving here! Anyway, glad to see you back in Thailand❤

I am planning a similar road trip but there are soooo many options like hertz, SixT, Lumpinee, Sathon Car, after all the comparisons i have made along with the type of cars they give my preferred choice is Hertz mostly cus i have used them in europe and o have had no issues! How is heetz in thailand?? How much time did they take to return the deposit?
Would recommend Hertz other than Prateek’s recommendation budget too. Both are widely accepted. Choosing Hertz was also from past experience & some recommendations. They dint charge me for one way drop rental & they credited back the deposit in 8-9 days. I was given a 10k driven honda city

Thanks bro! You can easily do in one stretch! If you can manage to drive for 10-12 hours. I can hence I do all these long road trips. Road conditions are perfect so not much a hassle. You can do Sam roi yot beach overnight or just drive all the way up to Phuket. You can checkout Pha Nga bay (dont miss it) if you plan to drive yourself
Hi! Its the simple one. Just stay in your lane and only change when needed. Right for overtaking and move in correct lane on intersection. You can easily rent forza or xmax in Chiang Mai but cost is high..
