I see it that he is "hired", could a third party "pay more" to get him a few episodes? It would be a nice twist (even if its more like Ryan vs "going bad again")
Even if this is the quickest turnaround for Sakitou, I still think this is a better redemption arc than Stacy's.
I don't think you're alone in thinking the subs should change that.
