@@MJBibleStudy Moot point, which was addressed by Matthew in the debate. God, the Father (aka Jesus' God), is the entire reason Jesus has authority. This eventually ends with Jesus handing the keys to the Kingdom back to God and being subjected to God, so that God will be the "all in all." Read 1 Cor 15:25-28 ... "25 For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death. 27 For He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is clear that [j]this excludes the Father who put all things in subjection to Him. 28 When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all."
Let's take Jesus' own words and give credit for the creation to God. It means more to worship Jesus as the human exalted Messiah, than to bastardize his accomplishments/faith by making him into a Trinitarian God. It is actually an insult to the Messiah to do so.
During MJ's cross exam period when he kept pressing the argument that the majority of "creation" references are "plural", Matthew should have just stated respectfully but firmly that MJ doesn't know how to read Hebrew and leave it at that. MJ doesn't understand the Hebrew construct form related to verbs. If he did, he would not be making such ridiculous arguments.
Case in point: MJ directs us to Genesis 35:7 where it says the God who appeared to him, and MJ claims that verb "appear" is plural. It's not. It's the construct form, designated by the "cp" in the parsing. He doesn't even know what that means because he has never studied Hebrew grammar rules.
@@MJBibleStudy C'mon, MJ. Do you really want me to add "lack of reading comprehension" alongside your unfamiliarity with Hebrew grammar to the list of your deficiencies you demonstrate in your approach to this subject? Just like Hebrew nouns which have plural vowel pointings can still be functionally singular in number (particularly as part of a construct chain), so too verbs which have plural vowel pointings nonetheless are functionally singular when attached to these nouns. "נִגְל֤וּ" is plural in form because its subject (the God - הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים) is also plural in form. Yet its clear that "the God" is referring to a singular person/being because in all the remaining 3 occurrences in the Hebrew Scriptures where YHWH *revealed Himself* (see 1 Samuel 2:27; 1 Samuel 3:21, Isaiah 22:14), the same verb is *singular*. Why? Because the subject (YHWH) is singular in number. What this demonstrates, MJ, is that the 3 crystal clear texts which unambiguously show that its only *ONE* person who is revealing *HIMSELF*, and thus the God is this singular person, help us to conclude that in this one ambiguous case (Genesis 35:7) we must not negate the obvious and latch on to "riddles" conjecturing multiple persons within "God" based on a peculiarity of Hebrew grammar. Essau's "face" (מִפְּנֵ֥י) in the same verse is also *plural* since its in a construct chain. MJ, will you be consistent in your conjecturing and also admit that Esau has MULTIPLE FACES here? It's PLURAL, after all. Shouldn't translators have rendered it "...when he fled from the *faces* of his brother"? Don't play these silly games anymore. Best to learn how to read Hebrew first.
How can he say "the Bible means what it says and means what it says", then turn around and ascribe meanings to the very verses he quotes with something it DOESN'T SAY. Not ONE verse he quoted says "Jesus" is God. He had to "put meaning" on it apart from what it says.
Not sure if MJ reads these comments, maybe you can send him this video? Search here on the tubes “hanging on his words did Jesus really create all things”

Yeah that trinitarian doesn't impress me at all ,three god persons making one essence of a being ,good luck reading that in the bible ,there's one God the father and HIS son for the sacrifice of our sin ,God the father made him the son king, with all authority it is given.by the way there is no blood in heaven it is written.
Hi, I’m not a Trinitarian, I’m Oneness. I have a question for a Unitarian if I may. How does Jehovah (the Father) prove that He has done the ultimate act of love as in John 15:13 and John 10:11 if He delegates someone else to do it?
Hi ,to you to,first I love the question,God the father is spirith (john 4,24)can't shed blood ,can't die,no flesh and blood in heaven 1 corinthian 15,50,so like abraham was Willing to sacrifice his own son for his people ,God did the same ,john 3,16 .as for the Shepherd,God the father explain in hebrew 13,20 that he reserected the son for the second covenant by blood for the sin of men,and he placed his son on the throne to rule in heaven, and earth for a time.just saying without God we can't exist,The father is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, he can dwell outside of his creation .by for now...
@@georgesboisvert4278 Thanks for your kind respond! I’m aware with the parallelism between the story of Abraham and God the Father. However, if God is love, and the ultimate act of love is to lay down one’s life for the other, then God cannot prove it because He does not have the body as you’ve pointed out above. It’s like when I say “I love you so much” to our loved one, I wouldn’t send someone else to express it and to prove it because it would be an uncomfortable moment for our partner. Any further thought on this?
Another thought came to mind ,second corinthian 5,19 God the father was in christ ,for 3 years ,so is pain he felt it on the cross until he had to leave the body for it to die, jesus was (avatar)of the father ,if I can put like that, but the sacrifice is definetly refused by some ,because to some the suffering servent is israel but malachi, daniel ,David says otherwise, to name a few ,and the sacrifice was propheseid by them so the father and jesus is just fullfilling this prophesy.the son was subject to temptation as he said on the cross it is finished, and because of that the father exalted him yo his throne, I hope it helps if you think of anything that would make it clear ,I would obviously appreciate it ,thank you.
@@georgesboisvert4278 Thanks so much for the insight! I greatly appreciate it as well. Yes, I think the closest analogy would be that Jesus is the “avatar” of the Father. I did not think of that word before. But we can still say that since the man Christ Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God the Father. And so Christ is the physical embodiment of God the Father in order for the Father to reconcile the world unto Himself. Thanks again. 😃👍

How do you explain John 14:12-14? How can we as humans do greater things than the creator Yah if Yahusha was Yah? And if you say because he is leaving and no longer being in the flesh, Yah isn’t in a fleshly form because He is a spirit and no one can do greater things than Him even if he isn’t present physically with us and has been always in a spirit form! We are brothers and sisters to the first born, our big brother Yahusha and our high priest and king who promised us to have us sit on the throne with him just as he sat on the throne with His Father. ❤
The language of the creator includes the personification of YHWH's "wisdom" and "word" , not as actual persons and other attributes of YHWH used as personifications.
"Mighty God" in Isaiah 9:6 is translated from "El Gibbor" which is used another time in Ezekiel 32:21 and is translated as "Mighty Chiefs" referencing mortal men. Thus, Yahshua being called "El Gibbor" does not, can not, mean the Almighty God.

Read 1 Cor 15:25-28 ...

I'm bummed I missed the live! But here I am... The next day. Go MATTHEW!!!! 🎉
Let's take Jesus' own words and give credit for the creation to God. It means more to worship Jesus as the human exalted Messiah, than to bastardize his accomplishments/faith by making him into a Trinitarian God. It is actually an insult to the Messiah to do so.
What a gracious and humble debate. Very impressed with how these two presented their opposing views
Thanks for sharing.
It's evident to be that MJ, like most Trinitarians, read or study from a Hellenic understanding of language and thinking.
@@casparjw Wow! You are so blinded is sad! Anyone can go to BlueLetterBible ans see its plural and then see you just lied
@ don’t need Hebrew 😂 Greek is better and clearer! May want to learn Greek!
Love HOHW. Great video reference.

But, to accept Yeshuah as Gods son i believe was directed to the ones that to this day still believe the messiah is to come. It is imperative that they come to the realization that he has already fulfilled this and believe on his beloved son to ne saved
The trinity is manmade pagan nonsense.
Our one true God = the father
Our one lord = Jesus
Simple.
So the Father is not LORD got it! SMH
@ the father made Jesus our one lord.
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”
So the father is not our one lord. He is a lord though. Just as Jesus is not our one and true God. He is a god though.
There are many lords and many gods
1 cor 8:5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”),
But our one God is the father and our one lord is Jesus
6:yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

I've watched MJ before sadly he has absolutely no clue or context on what the word Elohim means
Moses is called Elohim
Pagan singular God's are called Elohim
Elohim is a majestic plural and has nothing to do with multiple gods

Name one! I will wait LOL
Does jesus have his own spirit like a human OR does He and The Father share The Holy Spirit ❓️❓️❓️
The Holy Spirit is Yahweh's Spirit. Jesus/Yeshua is the first fruit of the resurrection. He has the same body that we will be given when we're resurrected, which is why he's the first fruit. Remember Jesus describes 2 different body types when speaking to Nicodemus in John chapter 3

Gen 3:15 ISV “I’ll place hostility between you and the woman, between your offspring and her offspring. He’ll strike you on the head, and you’ll strike him on the heel.” an offspring conquered Satan.
MJ loses in the first 5 min of opening statement as he states “he believes truth the way he THINKS it should be” 🤦🏾♂️ MJ has no good fruit as he said to approach it with humility… get real MJ.
MJ said Isaiah 9:6 days Jesus is God Almighty yet he’s wrong bc it’s says “mighty god” another lie
"Mighty God" in Isaiah 9:6 is translated from "El Gibbor" which is used another time in Ezekiel 32:21 and is translated as "Mighty Chiefs" referencing mortal men.
Thus, Yahshua being called "El Gibbor" does not, can not, mean the Almighty God.
even foreign warriors in Old Testament is called el gibbor too, look up answer by biblicalunitarian websit3
@@CalebTheSeeker In your view, who do you think sits on the throne [singular] in Revelation 4:2.
Would it be God the Father or would it be the visible image of the invisible God the Father, that is Christ?
Is it pedantic of me to cringe every one of the dozens of times MJ said "ō hone" when trying to assert Jesus is the Almighty from Exodus 3:14 and John 1:18?
If ever there was a possible occasion to completely dismiss someone's argument because they can't even pronounce the pertinent phrase correctly, I think this is it. The LXX reads "ego eimi ho on", not "ego eimi ō hone".
