Dev Gadhvi was highly influenced by Grant Cardone and Dan Lok as seen by his constant mention of them and also by his participation of attending their sales training courses.
Dev is one of Dan Lok's proteges. He runs a similar business to Dan Lok. Dev makes a lot of UA-cam videos about growing a social media following and running a business that you are passionate about.

These gurus had me for awhile I used to think being middle class was stupid but now I see that there’s nothing wrong with that. I’d rather work a 9-5 than scam a bunch of people or do something that provides no value. I want to create something meaningful and have an impact. Keep in mind Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos don’t have course and don’t crap on people for working a 9-5 be like them and focus on yourself.

Spencer the thing I really like about you is you don't make me feel so bad about my life. I have a 9-5, same company for 29 years but follow a lot of self help gurus and I read a lot of books. I juat take bits and pieces and get some value. As a real estate investor on the side, having a well paying job and good credit, I have access to lots of money and can jump on a deal. I had a goal to quit in a couple years but I actually like what a do and while I pursue my side hustles there is no financial pressure. Your UA-cam channel is one of my favorites. Keep the great content coming here and on biggerpockets. I had actually never heard of this guy but as always this was a good heads up.

Well done mate ! When I saw his Instagram ad for the first time, it was a red flag. He is frequently using the term 9 to 5 but in india there is no 9 to 5 whereas it is 9 to 6. Official Working hours in india is 9 hours not 8 hours. Funny Guy 😂

Dude his main program costs like a 100,000 rupees. And he charges for masterclasses as well which have information you could quite easily read on the newspaper.

Hey Spencer, Dev watched this video and sent the link to me in email (yes, I am his subscriber), saying that he is laughing and tells me that he ignores haters and this means he is in the right way. I thought ok, but I decided to watch your video and I realize you are right. Because You gave solid points on what he is and what's wrong, but he decides to ignore you. He should be answering for what he is criticized. Damn! he is too positive with his mindset that he doesn't want to think the other way than his gurus has teached him. That's too bad.

I was starting to think the guru stuff resembled too much the MLM business model and you comfirmed that. Also being an entepreneur is like being a parent, no one in the world can teach you how to be one and everyone is clueless when they have their first.
In the same example, you are a parent when u have a child. These "entrepreneurs" don't have an actual product or service. So they are people without a child claiming to be parents!

my take on this was “if they’re so rich off what ever it is they do why are they creating competition by selling their insider secrets” my father didn’t make his first million in real estate until he was 56 he started when he was 22 so it takes time and maybe some luck even then it’s still a tough thing to mange with taxes repair costs & hiring lawyers & architects for permits heck dealing with building violations or a tough tenant is a nightmare these guys clearly don’t know what they’re talking about

One of the things that makes him extra sleazy is that he's probably targeting the poor people in his own country with this pipedream.
I talk to Indians every day offering them a SKILL that can actually help them find a job. Most don't have money for it. I don't have the ethical dexterity to push them to take out loans or go deeper in debt. I'm not sure Dev can say the same.
Yes that's probably why the courses don't cost that much. For Indian people it is a lot. You can say the same about the American gurus though. With most skills there are UA-cam videos explaining how to do it and if you are going to spend money college is a much better option, especially if you can learn it at community college. But these gurus still somehow take thousands of dollars from people who now won't be able to afford community college.
Your right l am from Mumbai India and doing a practical business myself, l know how hard to run a business in India practically so what Dev is doing basically is he is selling dreams to the poor daydreamers of the country at a fractional price of 99 rupees that's equivalent to 1.20 USD that will sourly make him millionaire cause we have millions of poor daydreamers hear who believe he has a magic wand or something thanks.

I love watching the powerful testimonials and stories of how we have helped to change peoples lives! I would disagree that running a business will ALWAYS become unenjoyable. Maybe for some businesses, and maybe not for others.

As a teacher, actual teaching is fucking hard. I can tell you a million different things about English grammar, style, composition, literature, etc. - and I need all that - yet only 10% of that actually comes through in any given lesson. Fuck people who think teaching means failure.

I was also hooked on one of these entrepreneurs' motivational talks on youtube due to my time being laid off from my 9 to 5 job. Finding these con artists as mentors is in a way fulfilling for a short period of time until they reveal that in order for me further myself, money has to be first banked in before anything happens. This triggered my defense mechanism looking for answers about their background and that is how I found your channel and also some other UA-camrs exposing their tricks. Thank you and all the UA-camrs exposing their dirty little secrets. Now I will take these so-called Gurus' advice with a pinch of salt.....or check out more of your channel for these fake Gurus. Kudos.

I am a passionate entrepreneur. But I try to work for only 9-5, just to maintain a work life balance.
I can generate some extra business by putting in some extra hours but I think mental peace and happiness is more important.

I’m a first time entrepreneur myself. I quit my well paying job to start my own company. Was that a good idea, I don’t know but I am gonna keep at it and see where this goes. It has not been easy. We are yet to do any sales. Ever since I graduated I always wanted to start my own company. And finally I did it after 16 years. I am not gonna say it’s for everyone, I don’t even know if this is for me. I will only be able to tell you in a year or two. Don’t buy into such courses. Learn a skill, go after your dream, have a back up plan just in case. But, make sure you give your 100% until then and know when to say I don’t think this is working. There are plenty of successful entrepreneurs, who failed at one business and went back to a job and became an entrepreneur again. And there’s nothing wrong in that.
