It really was a a beautiful stretch of coastline, the light was constantly changing with the Scottish weather through the day, made it more atmospheric 😊.

Big drops but what a fantastic coastline and talk about a bench with a view, whoever out that there deserves a medal! I was going to say shame about the rain but remembered it is Scotland, good that it never lasted mind. Nice little lunch spot (incoming tide apart) and great place to fly the drone as well. That Irish sea must have been cold mind and did not like that sign saying Bull in Field but a great walk, despite the intermittent rain showers, cheers Alan

Thanks so much for stopping by😊👍. We have a few of your adventures to catch up on our watch list, been a super busy few weeks. We actually did say that Mrs metalman would have loved that bench! We know that she appreciates a well placed bench😊👌. Views really were stunning, and the weather was kind to us considering it was Scotland, waited until we were about 5 minutes away from the car before the heavens opened😄 🌧. Thankfully the bull didn't appear, but the sign was enough to quicken our pace through that field! 😳🐃. For a reasonably short coastal route, this ticked all our boxes 👍

Ah we think we drove past Rockliffe on our way back to the bothy in brydekirk. Another area to explore! It is so beautiful up there isn't it. And so quiet!

I was actuallx thinking it as soon as Pete said it but how nice is it that there was noone around. You guys had the hills and beach all to yourself. The views were beautiful, and nice to see you getting the drone out again. Lovely video Pete and Shell, I always enjoy your adventures.

Now this is looking lovely already. Hope you’ve got your Doritos packed, just in case!!! We’ve still not done this neck of the woods, looks beautiful though and is definitely on our list. Mind that edge!!! Really is breathtaking. The path looks good, I reckon even we could handle this one. Lovely weather this day. Even the Irish Sea is looking gorgeous here and love the fact there’s no one else about. Loving he drone shots too. Watch out for that quick tide, oops. That second spot is really beautiful and yes, absolutely you have to have a paddle. The loch looks lovely too. Don’t forget to Be Aware of the bull 😂. We really enjoyed this both, mmm, cheese and wine. Top work!!! 🍻

This really was a fantastic walk, the loop is fairly short, only around 5.5 miles, and the path is really good (as long as you don't mind the odd drop over the cliff on one side, and of course, the bull to be aware of later on 😂🐃). We can throughly recommend checking it out if you ever visit the area (postcard does dumfries, we would love to watch those videos!😊👌).

We finally finally pick up our van in three weeks (which has turned into a Motorhome) - long story. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
So we’re already planning trips and want to do Mull next year. But seeing Dumfries and Galloway again makes us want to do a few days along that coast on the way up.

This really is a beautiful coastline, and hardly anyone to be be seen! We are sure a stop off on your way up north would be very worthwhile 🤩👍. We know we have really fallen for dumfries and Galloway ❤. Thankfully the bull was nowhere to be seen, or we had absolutely no idea what us being aware was going to do 😂🐃😳. Ooh it sounds like you will be off on your vanlife adventures very soon (or motorhome adventures, works either way!😂👍).
