- The weather finally cleared up enough to hit the road in the ZL1500 for the first time. The first drive went awesome and really gives us a lot of a huge relief being everything was brand new. Also troubles with Nemo (ZL1) but replacement parts are already going on.

I love the early interior the way it came and you fixing the only flaw on these trucks with that beautiful instrument cluster. I had a 454 ss and I kick myself everyday for getting rid of it. Is the buckets and console from a crew or suburban? I've only seen red.

The GMT400 platform was an awesome platform. I would love to see this build in a 4wd 1500 or Tahoe so you could do AWD launches. This is very reminiscent of the kind of builds Jon Moss used to do.

When i was a kid i was into putting b series motors in clean ef civics and integras. This is basically that but for adults :) :) so many clean older gm bodys to choose from. One day when i have some money i hope to get into this too. Love the content guys. Thank you

That speedo could be dangerous above 80 because each hash mark goes from every 10 mph increments to 20 mph increments. Especially one a vehicle this strong for someone not used to it. Because they might be running 75-80 and go to pass someone and think they're doing 90 when they're really doing 110-120.
Wowww, this is my absolute dream truck!!! Hell I own an 03 gmc Sierra 1500 with only 40k original miles and it's black on black rwd 5 speed ls V8 she's rare and in showtruck condition so I'd like to do something special under the hood and really wake her up a bit then work on stiffening up the chassis/suspension really turn it into a fun little truck but for now she has maybe 400hp and a clutch with zero weight in the back so it's already fun as hell lol
Is it normal for a zl to idle at 30psi ? If my ol 5.7 starts to drop below 40 she's a lil low on oil!!! I absolutely love this truck..no Hate all love just seriously concerned subscriber. J.k keep the awesome content coming

I think those turbos that came with the kit originally, are too small for the motor. If the turbos are being spun to fast, that will creat high IAT and cause the turbos to fail. I’m sure you know this.
Love it! I do believe replacing the clear corners with black would help, as well as a set of black tails if there are any that do not look like they came from JC Whitney.... lol. #THROWBACK

Bro once the weather comes around, set up like 3 exterior Gopros on it and just go for a drive. Would watch 20 mins of this truck just cruising.
When you're running bearings that fast, they can be overgreased. Too much grease will cause overheating which will break the grease down and cause bearing failure.

One thing idk if this is is smart or not but the heat from the track is going right into the turbos and I think it could be part of the problem but idk.

Amazing truck, nice build! One thing though- you got that badass custom digital gauge cluster but that lonely 90s looking security system led on the right. And that old school radio sticking way too far out. Do that amazing truck some justice with some interior customization!
