Same to you!
Everything is beautiful! I really love the back area beyond the fence. Filling in so quickly, just gorgeous!
Thank you!
everything is so healthy and well cared for. Amazing job!
Thank you!
Happy Mother’s Day Soleil! Garden is looking wonderful. Have a great day! 🌼🌿☀️💚
Thank you! You too!
Like the Japanesemaple and grass planted together!
The way back garden is really coming along! I have my own way back area I call my woodland area. I have some hostas to get planted today along with primrose from a friend!
Have fun planting!!
Just beautiful!
Haven watch your channel in a while, your fence looks so good, changed the impact of the garden NICE👍
Thank you°
Your gardens are looking spectacular! I appreciate all the little bits and tips and tricks, etc. etc. we have been having a lot of rain as well. May is usually the month we get a lot of rain. As a matter of fact, the rain woke me around 4 AM. And as I laid there listening to the rain the birds started to sing at the same time. It was glorious.
Sounds amazing and relaxing!
Garden is beautiful
Hi my dear friend thanks so much for another wonderful video and thank you for sharing. Such a beautiful garden with us. You do such a beautiful job. Always enjoy coming over.
Thanks for visiting!!
My dream is to have a yard like yours someday, it is beautiful.
Thanks Sunshine. 💐💚🙃
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Everything is looking attractive in your beautiful gardens. I think it would help me if I knew which direction your plantings are facing. I am in
6B in So. Il. Our winters aren't as cold as yours. Thanks for sharing. Waiting to see you next time. Take care.
I really love your garden I’m gonna use you as my inspiration! So happy you popped up on my feed and we are both in 6a but I’m in the DMV region on northeast
Thanks for joining!!
Wow always so beautiful and breathtaking
Thank you for that info. I am north of Soleil.
You have a beautiful garden. I love watching the weekly garden walk abouts. It amazes me how you plant so many plants but yet it doesn’t look like a jumble. I hope to do the same one day, I just have to figure out how to 😂. Question, what is the name of the green coral bell at 10:02?
That is thr pink fizz tiarella! Isn't it pretty?
Your garden is stunning Soleil - so many colours! You certainly like hostas, how do stop the slugs eating them? I have a few in the ground but they get decimated every year. I lots in pots though which usually escape 😊 Best wishes from South Wales UK 🏴
I think it is because I have so many birds and I see frogs and other creatures that eat them.
Hi, I loved this garden tour. Love the clematis, plus the heuchera and hostas together. Do you know whether you can put plants with power mildew in the compost bin?
I always watch your videos right to the very end as Iit always brings a smile to my face when you say "bye!!' 😊 😊😊
It's better to not put plants with powdery mildew in the compost bin. Thanks for watching!!
Are you able to plant annuals in containers yet? It’s been too cold in Colorado and no rain to speak of. I’m starting to plant on Sunday. Temps look like it may warm up and stay that way for at least the next 10 days. Soleil, where do you find your cool obelisks? I’ve looked online in many places without any luck. The garden looks beautiful! Your hard work shows! Enjoy!🤗💐🌷🌺🌻
Hopefully planting some containers tomorrow! I got a couple obelisk at Menards I think and one off Facebook marketplace...
Wow! The way back garden looks amazing, how often do you water that side of the garden???
I don't as I do not have any water supply back there. Only water when I first plant something.
Where do you get all of your beautiful plant cages? Your garden is beautiful.🌷🌻
I get them from Gardeners Supply company!
Enjoying my Saturday morning coffee with walkabout. Question. About how many weeks do you wait before you cut your daffodils foliage by half? Thanks
About 2 weeks...
Can’t believe how big and beautiful your clematis is already ❤ Freezing along the lakeshore
Is that little white flower Star of Bethlehem? Mine are just opening in north west Michigan. I need guidance on pruning the Weigela, will follow along to see how yours flourish and the care you give it.
Yes some do call it the star of Bethlehem!
WOW simply beautiful! I spent the morning here in Maine looking for a tree/plant for my main front garden but with limitations. We have electrical wires so we need something no taller than 18 ft that will not be too much work. For now it would be part shade but in the future it will be full sun. Any suggestions that you know of? Much appreciated. I believe we are 6a. Thanks!
Maybe a Japanese Maple? Some grow about 12 feet.
Thank you very much for the tip about the sedum, I may have watered it if I saw mine looking that way so thank you for that information.
Glad it was helpful!
Absolutely beautiful what are you using to treat your grass
My husband pays a service right now so I am not sure...
I love your rock edging; I have lots of rock that I could do the same, but have hesitated to do because of keeping a crisp edge. How do you maintain your rock edging? Love your " out back" area also! Beautiful.
My hubby uses the weed Wacker to keep the grass away.
Did you miss the big fat bunny waiting to feast in your beautiful garden?
Is the chives in a pot? It's taking over my flower bed.
No, but I do cut them back right at the end of their bloom. There are also garlic chives that are pretty invasive.
TY...
We are the same zone 6a .my clematis and other flowers only just sending up green shoots. Why is there such a difference? I am in mid Ontario Canada
Sun angle. I’m assuming that you are north her latitude and the sun is lower on the horizon.
Hello. Do you leave your Iris foilage up throughout the growing season, or does it need to be cut back?
I leave it up all season.
Isn’t the word “clem a tis” /a/ as in apple?
It’s both depending on where you live
I had to cut lots of my hosta leaves. When they bloomed fir some reason they turned or curled down😢
Sorry to hear that.
underneath that standard hydrangea wouldn’t you want to put another Japanese painted fern? it would look complete with a nice grouping on both sides.
So many happy plants. :D I love to see the hostas enjoying life.
Hello from Southern Indiana. Your garden is really blooming and looking beautiful. Thanks for the tour. I look forward to your videos.😊
Thanks so much, Linda!
subur subur tanamannya dan cantik cantik bunganya
Are those boxwoods the ones you had front? I had to put edging between my flower bed and neighbors weeds maybe will work to keep the wayback from invading the normal garden
The little white flowers with the grassy foliage we’ve called Star-of-Bethlehem. They come and go in different areas for me. Just a nice little surprise in different places each year.
How do you go about shaping Ninebarks?
Ninebarks just follow a stem back to a branching point to trim, but they don't really need to be pruned.
I’m in Ohio and I have 2 viburnums that the leaves have been decimated by something as well. I see nothing on the leaves or stems but I sprayed it anyway. There are new leaves emerging and I wanted to protect it just in case. I guess it’s a wait and see situation here.🤷🏻♀️
I really hope it's not the viburnum beetle...
I do appreciate your weekly walk about. Do your really tall ferns send out runners? Do you cut back your Hellebores in the fall?
The royal ferns have been planted there for probably over 10 years and they have very slowly grown the clump, no runners. I cut back my hellebores in late winter or early spring.
Wow Soleil, your Clematis looks gorgeous! I’m in SW FL and they are doing nothing! 😂❤😂
Wow! They are blooming quite early here this year.
Enjoyed your video as always. Blue plant looks like lithadora.
That's exactly what it is and I was just going to put it in the comments, thanks!!!
Beautiful 💚
