Beautiful cooking! Really helpful to see the building of the dish. I made a very simple one tonight but I want to try it with your dhansak masala! Great video
Just made it. Fantastic. I had no tamarind but i had some date concentrate. Worked fine. Might add some lime later for acidity but it's a really tasty meal. Made some Peshwari Naan to go along.
Very nice easy recipe. I like this version, as the lentils and veggies are not blended like in the original recipe. I like a bit of texture. The only ingredient I found missing was chilli powder, so I’ll add a little to give it some heat. Otherwise, I’m definitely going to try this.
Ajay love your recipes! Thanks for your time. Quick question about the masala for dansak, when blending the toasted spices, do you remove the seeds from the cardamom pods first or just grind the lot?
Chicken Dhansak is one of my favourite dishes, you explained it very well, i will need to have a go at making this, thanks.
Definitely going to give this a wee try ! Looks fandabydosey 👍

Dhansak is one of the best currys, so good, important to keep the chicken large though, kind of makes the dish that way.
