Weird how this game is still the best looking “mainline” game of all the games. It keeps the top down look, it all looks crisp, cinematic camera angles during battles, actual cutscenes. I remember this game got so much hate upon reveal because it was “yet another remake”, people didn’t like that the catching mecanic was copied straight out of pokemon Go. As someone who has never played pokemon Go in their life : it’s the most immersive way to actually catch a pokemon, and I can imagine it is why pokemon Go is so popular. I also think people had seen what the switch can do with a game like breath of the wild. They were expecting something like that for the mainline pokemon games. (And rightfully so) But now, years later and what we got never came close to botw. I liked Arceus like many others, but honestly I prefer this style for pokemon. I wish they would build on this foundation. Every pokemon can follow you, you can ride a lot of them, even fly, they find stuff for you in the overworld, you could bond with your companion, even personalise it’s appearance, This to me is still the most complete and finished pokemon game ever created. Let’s hope for a let’s go Marill/Togepi.
Omg, in Pokemon red I had an unlimited money glitch and I bought 999 (max amount) of ultra balls when I went into the cave to capture mewtwo, and when I caught it I had 368 ultraballs :,)

GOD these cutscenes are amazing. I love how they actually interact with your character with dynamic camera angles and amazing graphics. I've got my hopes up for generation 8 next year!

I remember I used to save before and after each catch back in the days so it doesn’t died. For these new one, save before and after each catch so it doesn’t run away. You can always reload at the same spot if it ran away.
When catching the legendary birds, I feel like catching Zapdos first is the best because if type advantage, and then using zapdos and pikachu to easily catch the other two legendary birds.

Turns out that if u have pokemon lets go Pikachu or Eevee and brilliant diamond or shining pearl, you can actually get a mew in brilliant diamond and shining pearl and transfer it over using pokemon home and get one without using the Pokeball! You must go to the little town near floramora city/town and talk to the old couple. If you have pokemon sword or shield you can talk to them again and get Jirachi!
Even though the pokemon team took a risk with this game, it's honestly pretty good alongside the crazy changes they made like getting rid of wild battles for this, even still it looks fun, pokemon 2019 is going to be insane

9:32 pm November 2nd I made a plan to get Zapdos I used the support trainer I used eevee and made eevee use buzzy buzz because its electric and flying and flying types are bad against electric types it didn’t work so I made the support trainer use graveler and use double edge and I made eevee use sizzly slide twice and graveler made zapdos use his final bow by using double edge again now with many ultra balls I used them to catch zapdos I also used my only gold razz berry
I legit found a Zapdos hanging out above a Pokémon Center, even though I already caught one in the Power Plant. Call me crazy, but I gave up after I got down to two Ultra balls. I don't know if it's a glitch or something else, Zapdos probably just wanted to hang out.

I had level 30-44 Pokémon when I caught Zapdos. 5 fainted. Caught it. Had to use a support trainer. People think I’m weak. Got a Zapdos. *Worth it*

Being honest, I don’t like the catching and stat system in this game. Sure, it’s fun and cool and all, but I still see this as a side game rather than a main game.

Well it is a side game technically, there is still a main pokemon title coming sometime next year

Turns out that if u have pokemon lets go Pikachu or Eevee and brilliant diamond or shining pearl, you can actually get a mew in brilliant diamond and shining pearl and transfer it over using pokemon home and get one without using the Pokeball! You must go to the little town near floramora city/town and talk to the old couple. If you have pokemon sword or shield you can talk to them again and get Jirachi!

9:32 pm November 2nd I made a plan to get Zapdos I used the support trainer I used eevee and made eevee use buzzy buzz because its electric and flying and flying types are bad against electric types it didn’t work so I made the support trainer use graveler and use double edge and I made eevee use sizzly slide twice and graveler made zapdos use his final bow by using double edge again now with many ultra balls I used them to catch zapdos I also used my only gold razz berry

I legit found a Zapdos hanging out above a Pokémon Center, even though I already caught one in the Power Plant. Call me crazy, but I gave up after I got down to two Ultra balls. I don't know if it's a glitch or something else, Zapdos probably just wanted to hang out.
