I had a boss who was more honest than friends and family. He told me the hard truth sometimes. Haven't worked for him in over 10 years but I still respect him for it.
Sometimes I hate that I’m so honest. Brutally honest but I’d feather be honest than live life lying to myself. So I speak the truth and allow others to do the same to me. Even.
Barkley was not being direspectful at all. He was asked a question and he answered honestly. It's just that Jordan is used to the whole world kissing his @**. And Barkely was 100% right. Jordan was doing a horrendous job running that team.
Exactly, he was just saying how it is. Though another way to word it, he could of said he believed that even though Jordan was doing a horrible job that he is capable of doing better than that. Sometimes it's more about how it's worded than respect/disrespect. I think Jordan would have appreciated that Charles Barkley had his back in some way or form.
I mean it’s funny because Charles was crying that MJ didn’t kiss his team mates asses Imfao man demanded they done their jobs and stating that makes us rim lickers alright pussio
I'm a huge jordan fan, but I agree. Sometimes people get to a certain level of fame they get used to everyone being "yes" men. So they get offended as soon as someone doesn't play that role. That seems like the case with Charles. He was just being honest. I don't think he was trying to be disrespectful. Just stating the obvious
Cant believe I'm taking Barkley's side here, but he was right. Friends are supposed to be honest with each other. He didnt try to dish or trash Michael, he just honestly stated that Jordan wasnt doing a good job, and he had facts to back that up. Disrespectful would be if Barkley fakely talked about how great Jordan was handling the team just so that Jordan wouldn't get mad at him.
Yeah but how was he not doing a good job? What could the improvement have been. Jordan was the biggest celebrity in the United States for many years. He was always dealing with people who would talk about him for the sake of it because it would get the attention. A good friend would have spoken about it off camera before the interview, or if not would have gone into detail about their feelings on how they could improve. If my friend had some thoughts about me they wanted to air, but never said it to me and only said it to strangers when there was a camera involved, I would have been very upset myself. I’m not saying Jordan didn’t overreact and he should’ve let cooler heads prevail in the end. But I believe Barkley stepped over a boundary.
Amongst friends you can say that. But Barkley said it on a huge platform stating that Michael did not perform well. Just support your friend, stating you still believe in his ability to do well. Criticize without camera's and press just face to face. I understand Michael...
Many people know that Jordan was extremely competitive but what was quietly something that people didn't know was that his competitiveness inspired sometimes good natured trash talking and sometimes the trash talking was just out of bounds and vicious. He wanted to win and if he thought you as a team mate was helping him or not contributing enough he will blow fire on you if you were an opponent who was challenging him performance wise he would say very vicious and hurtful things to get in your head.

and you disrespected jordan at your own peril. A very young Kevin Garnett got in the face of a very old Michael Jordan and was completely schooled by the master.
Ewing was competitive, Isaiah was competitive, Bird, Moses. Can’t measure ones competitive nature by accomplishments and accolades. Magic was hella competition. Jordan was faster, more physically gifted and had a Magic level IQ. Can’t say who was the most competitive. We can’t read our own hearts much less another’s.
What i got from this is like Lebron was something like your best friend that will help you a lot, and Jordan was like your elder brother that has the wisdom and will smack you if you disrespect him.
0:57 the reason Michael was roughing Kerr up was because Michael was mad about losing 1995 nba playoffs and lost to his former teammate Horace Grant who went over to Orlando magic so he was mad and took his anger out on Kerr because Phil Jackson started calling these ticky tack fouls
MJ's competitiveness is so high in the hierarchy level where it will smack the hell out of you and dare you to say something, that's how strong his pride level kicks is

My guy is Larry Bird, he is my idol, the best player of the history"
I still think even after what happened Mugsy Bogues will go down as a legend in the history of the NBA. Not because of his height but because of the stats, dribbling skills, and ball stealing power. MJ might be the GOAT but he is insulting. I saw Mugsy's interview on the other hand and he took this very sportingly. Hat's Off to you Mugsy you are and always will be a Star!
I would never believe MJ is the goat he is not to go Bill Russell should be the goat 🐐 Michael in high school wasn't better than LeBron James in high school
I think the Hornets made the right move on Kemba, traded for Terry and got a player who has produced at a similar level while being able to embrace a rebuild with young studs in Ball, Brides, and Washington. Kemba has a shot with an actual contender, the opinion of Kemba not getting paid what he was worth is basically killed by the fact that Kemba's time in Boston has been so up and down. He hasn't really grown past what he was in Charlotte even in a completely different environment, I'd even argue he's taken a step back since he isnt the 1st option on offense anymore.
@@KGilliam91 bro that’s crazy that he would even try to get that much money. He could have taken the 32m per years, which IMO is still to much for him, and learned from the GOAT. Instead he went to another team for less money.

@@Scaley_Reptile like they didn't have Horace grant?
@@ssk58607 you have to remember that jordan had to push horace, bj and scottie for them to win championships, they were unproven rookies when mj got them.
You think pippen will be as good as he become if he didn't have to guard jordan everyday in practice?
Chuck dont have the patience to mentor rookies.
That's actually a terrible supporting cast and everyone acts like it isn't. The fact that Jordan won 72 games with them is incredible.
Jordan is overrated
I love the guy but the whole world including myself always acted like Jordan won all by himself
I feel like Jordan was that bully in school who actually practiced so everyone just left him alone and wished the worst for him.
I feel he that underdog who got bullied and never let nobody forget it lol!
He didn't even make his high school team!
Good but he's dogshit compared to LeKing
MJ was bullied on the court in high school and couldn't make the team twice, I feel like Jordan deserves to talk trash anyone that thinks they are on the same level after a career like that

The thing about the "rings" argument is that really shouldn't define an individual player, it defines how good the team was you played with. Jordan probably played with the best all around team in NBA history. 72 games
@@Mike_Benz_ True, but rings is a team award. Here's an example. John Salley has rings, but is he better than Charles Barkley? Gary Payton has one ring in Miami, was BJ Armstrong better than the glove because of a ring count?

and you disrespected jordan at your own peril. A very young Kevin Garnett got in the face of a very old Michael Jordan and was completely schooled by the master.

MJ is arguably one or maybe THE most competitive basketball player of all time.
He and Kobe, yep.
@𝙻𝙻𝙲 Gehenna bruh someone is a casual
Ewing was competitive, Isaiah was competitive, Bird, Moses. Can’t measure ones competitive nature by accomplishments and accolades. Magic was hella competition. Jordan was faster, more physically gifted and had a Magic level IQ. Can’t say who was the most competitive. We can’t read our own hearts much less another’s.
What i got from this is like Lebron was something like your best friend that will help you a lot, and Jordan was like your elder brother that has the wisdom and will smack you if you disrespect him.
Nicely done my man. Very entertaining and facts and examples directly from the past. Love it, keep ‘em rollin.
My basketball coach actually taught us that trash talking is part of the game. It's a mind trick that can dissorient the opponent.
I was doing my homework but I realized this was more important
😂
😂
🤣😜
This man REBOUND is so entertaining even without a face reveal fr
MJ is a master of mind games. Disrespect is one of his tools. He uses it to preserve his confidence and destroy that of the opponent.
It's a game remember?
I don’t recall confidence ever being an issue with Jordan so he would have no need to preserve it.

Kemba was way over his head asking for that much.
220m is 44m per year that’s Lebron/Kobe/Durant type money. Kemba dam sure isn’t on that level.

@@KGilliam91 bro that’s crazy that he would even try to get that much money. He could have taken the 32m per years, which IMO is still to much for him, and learned from the GOAT. Instead he went to another team for less money.
