Powerful Communities Talk at Guildford Goes Wild 2023

How can we build power in communities to access nature? Accessing Nature is and should be for everyone, but sometimes it can feel like something over there for other people. People’s relationships with nature and their local wildlife is personal to them.
Bryony Carter explores how the strength in communities to bring people together can create opportunities for people to build skills, friendships and community cohesion, helping us to benefit from nature.
Bryony has over 15 years’ experience working with communities to understand, listen and help bring about change by building confidence and power into communities. She will also talk about how the Wildlife Trusts are changing the way they are connecting with people through the Nextdoor Nature project with some case studies of what is being achieved.
