My MR2 videos can be found here: bit.ly/2Yeivba I recommend replacing both front and rear mounts at the same time. Below are the exact mounts I used on my 85' MR2: Rear motor mount: amzn.to/3vqFMEl Bolts for rear mount: 90119-10313 (2x) and 90105-12035 (1x) Front motor mount: amzn.to/3yfdFIV Bolts for front mount: 90119-10313 (2x) and 90105-12035 (1x)
@@DIYDanCarsmuch appreciated. Although I’m in Australia so I have to watch your videos upside down..! I have windows that only wind halfway down, after seeing your video I want to tackle it myself. Mines a MK1B but I’m hoping it’s similar. Do you still have your AW11?
@@wayne_kurr Yep! I still have it. The steps in this video should be almost verbatim for your MK1B if you want to tackle this yourself. I have owned the car for over 10 years now and I thought about selling it, but then always end up changing my mind. The main problem I have is with space -- aka too many cars. Right now I'm looking for a custom exhaust system for the car but there aren't any options out there that include replacing the down pipe. I wish we had more options in America for these types of exhaust parts but such is like when dealing with an old car like this.
Hello bud I’ve been having trouble with my aw11 it won’t run on its own I have fuel spark good injectors all new relays and fuses it just cranks but won’t start
No, it's not a "hammer drill". I'm using an electric Dewalt impact wrench. I have no experience with the poly mounts from primemr2 so can't comment on them.

Did you check the timing?
is that a hammer drill? are the poly mount inserts @ primemr2 better than whole mount replacements like you got?

Where did you find a front lower engine mount bracket? I can’t find one
I bought mine about a year ago on Amazon. I left links in the description to where I purchased mine from.
@@DIYDanCars Thanks Dan! Looks like you got the last one available on the planet😤
@@nsrocketguy There will be more. Just keep an eye out at rockauto and amazon. :)
