- After shattering Merlene Ottey’s 1991 Meeting Record in the 200m with a time of 21.48s at the Brussels Diamond League, we caught up with Shericka Jackson for another TIL takeover!!!
We discussed her 200m World Record attempts, Eugene Diamond League, Shericka’s mental health after not qualifying for the 200m Semi-Finals at the Tokyo Olympics and the kind words from Yendi Phillipps (@YendiPhillipps1) that helped her heal during that time.

I am so glad for Antonique. Few years ago, i was badgering every Bahamian i met on the net about her, why the allow her to just fade into oblivion! Imagine, a girl who removed both VCB junior records, 100m & 200m from the top!! Now she is coming into her own, i will be satisfied with any progress she makes.

Ladies, go ahead and do your do. Most of these people out here don't have a clue what you athletes go through. I was passing gas when I lined up for my first race since high school. I was then 61 years old. One of my athletes, at the age of 43, had to run to the restroom every time her race was called. All of you are my heroes ❤️ ♥️ 😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤
