(barring the VP stuff). I have had the same thoughts on growth scope and retirement factors, but am looking to pursue my degree abroad as i am currently abroad. what career advice do you have for me ?

      Don't worry about your age. My career path is even weirder, and I too came back after completing an advanced degree abroad. I have a venture capitalist from Stanford in my class, as well as people from the weakest background. A law classroom in a government college can be very diverse.

      CLAT is an entrance exam for admissions to NLUs. The exam is held for the 5-year integrated LLB degree and the postgraduate LLM.
      BALLB are two undergraduate degrees: one in arts, one in law. One can obtain them the traditional way (complete BA, then do 3-year LLB), or can do a 5-year integrated course after 12th.
      At both levels you can choose different streams, BBA-LLB, BCom LLB etc. An integrated course in law is generally not available for certain undergraduate majors/honours/ degrees. Most integrated degrees are general degrees. So you can't do an integrated BSc (biochemistry) LLB, or a BTech (electronics) LLB. In the latter case you have to complete the specific degree and then apply for LLB.

    Mam Im in a govt. Can I do LLB 3yr program through correspondence mode. I have heard that bar Council doesn't gives to correspondence course.
    Pls tell some colleges which provide such degree(correspondence).

    • @r2.b2
      @r2.b2 5 років тому

      There is no BCI recognised LLB degree that can be obtained via correspondence. This means that you cannot enroll yourself as an advocate or argue cases with any correspondence law degree. That said, if you wish to be a legal consultant/regulatory expert, you can go in for correspondence degree or diploma programs in law, eg. NLSIU's Master's in Business Law (undergrad degree required), or Cyber Law Diploma awarded by the Asian School of Cyber Law...both are respected in the legal/regulatory space, and you will be able to provide legal advice in these spheres. No possibility of representation in courts, though...

    • @ChetChat101
      @ChetChat101  6 років тому

      Mujahid, yes very much there is a good scope.
      Suggest you send your resumes directly to law firms in the middle east. You can use google to find out law firms and apply on the career . If you have any job experience, it may be helpful. Knowledge of Arabic language is a preferred in most of the law firms. Consider applying to law firms which have global presence, like Allen Overy, Kochhar & Co, White & Case etc.
      Some of the job sites for Dubai are www.gulftalent.com/ www.monstergulf.com/.
      Alternatively, you can connect with an authorised job consultant.
      Hope this helps you

      Depends on what type of advocate you want to be like if you want to be a litigation lawyer and or a legal advisor then you don't need much debating skills because you'll be working in offices most of the time but if you want to be a criminal lawyer or corporate lawyer who needs to speak in court (or any other place) on the behalf of their client then you MUST have good debating skills
