This is actually a really hard subject to have a conversation on because until you have lived it, anatomy says it’s wrong. But, honestly, I’m trimming more off feel, I’m trimming the distortion away by cutting the shape in, but because I’m leaving all the depth, and the sole is stretched, I end up actually nailing “inside the white line” quite a bit. I plan on doing a video on this in the future

Yea that’s a pretty good way to put it. Instead of the white line being what is stretched, the sole is.
