Yeah , pretty much. I guess they were trying to bring Everything from previous Rwby media (The villain from the Game being mentioned in the Dc Crossover special) and now The crown Leaders escape with salem's help.
It wouldn't surprise me if there still some remnants of the White fang joining her now that Adam is gone.
The only other "Safe kingdom" would be Mistral.
I hope this does go into Volume 10 as the first episode. Keep holding onto faith and remember Ruby’s message.

I think, given Yang is one of Raven’s anchors, when they returned, Raven sensed it and immediately portaled to them.
It’s pretty interesting and a bit of a tear jerker. I like getting the perspective of Nora, Oscar, Ren, Winter and Qrow, how they’re trying to find hope in this damn near hopeless situation.
A few things I felt like they missed out on, no sight of Maria, Pietro, or Taiyang. And I’m not really a fan of Vale being completely leveled off screen. But it was still very nice for what it was.
Hopefully some of those questions will be answered in RWBY: Beyond.
So i guess the two Crown people are gonna be Watts and Hazel's replacements.

@@kevinimation5508The Crown was a group in Remnant formerly operating in the Kingdom of Vacuo. They acted as the main antagonists of RWBY: After the Fall and RWBY: Before the Dawn.
Their names were Jax and Gillian Asturias.
I missed Mercury and Tyrion.....man hope V10 is a possibility....i want them to be back and Salem too!
I had a plan to watch all of V9 when it released on the website and then see the animatic. But of course the one day of the week I'm away from home all day is the day it gets released. And of course I'm so exhausted that I can't enjoy it! So hopefully after a long sleep, I can enjoy this the next day.
I’m literally crying when I saw this, and a show that had significant impact on my life has never been able to make me cry.
It was a rollercoaster of emotional moments I felt on the inside when I watched the epilogue extended from the RTX version. I felt many feelings when I watched the side stories of Nora, Oscar, Ren, Winter and Qrow with many different feelings for each side story. I was even surprised to see returning characters too. I hope RWBY would be saved by the teamworks of Crunchyroll, A24 and Dillon Goo and his team. They would make a wonderful combination.
If this was fully animated, i would have broken into tears so bad
I would presume that Salem would need to know with some degree of precision where the crown is for Ambrosius to make her a portal to it. He needed blueprints of Atlas to do the portals there.
What a treat this was to watch! I also was hoping hunky Theodore would show up. I am so grateful for both of your reaction content for RWBY . Also nearly fell out of my chair when Coco appeared !

(I just want to say MY PEACE that , that day when rooster teeth shut down news , and its hits me hard.. and I was so devastated ( so devastated that I went to a corner and cry like a total loser..😭💦💧 ) ... and so after awhile , I've started watching the YT / RT video of "not our goodbye stream!" From beginning to end, and it's has taken me some time to process , and or to accept this. And I'm still devastated 😢. Its pains me to Hear Barbara, Geoff, Larry, Kerry, Chelsea , and the rest of rooster teeth people said their peace's as they been tearing up , really breaks my heart 💔 😭 . And then I watch this yt video of "rwby isn't over" by smaller soul , and it been really hard for me to go on... but like right now I'm alot concerns for the people of rooster teeth and their shows will be alright ? ( like I know they said they're gonna be alright. I hope they'll still talk and hang out and still be there for each other like families do. Always. ) And so right now its gonna long and tough as hell for me to get through this.. but I'm gonna try to keep moving forward also I recently bought all the rwby manga 1 , 2 , and 3 vol's by bunta kinami , and like whoever picks up rwby after the Kerry is done writing rwby or idk , whatever qualities they have , they can do a reboot rwby however how many times they like , like the "MULTIVERSE " Rwby and more new RWBY's video games , as long as Kerry finishes the og rwby story at his own pace and the way he and monty wanted.. I just feel the rwby, RvB, death battle, camp camp , and all the rest of the shows are not gonna be the same without the voice acting and the personalitys and they're characters and the story..🌹❄👥🔥)
I think they didn't show Theo to save them from designing and modeling him for a single episode, they'd already have enough work with CFVY's models
if Salem had gotten the Relic, we would've known, it would suck setting up Ozpin making the Crown of Choice extra hard to find and never find out what he did.
personally, i think we'll get 2 volumes in Vacuo before the final volume being them going back to Beacon in a race for the crown

I finally get to see Oscar and the others I'm so happy we get to see them them again and that were finally addressing the merge Norris getting to beat her own person in the spotlight for once I'm glad the epilogue started out with her we're getting to see ren
And how much he's changed and how he wants to support everyone we're getting to see more of winter we finally got to see team cfyv,sn we see Terry in a Mercury are meeting up with the group from the light novel I still haven't read it yet I've only known bits and pieces of it from what I've seen people talk about but the group they're meeting with is called the crown
Who are a group of people who want to restore the royalty of remnant and are descended from the royalty who lived in vacuo during the Great war
We finally learned that Salem didn't go back to the dark Continent which was a theory of mine I figured she had used up all her grim pools
It makes sense she went to Vail that's where the remainder of her large amount of Grimm she knows everyone is in vacuo
And with even more negativity their the city is just constantly under attack I'm glad that we got to see neon
I'm also glad that we get to see Oscar fight in the happy huntresses I don't get what happened to the happy huntresses during volume eight when everyone was evacuating through the gateways I think some of them should have went through the gate and some should have stayed with Ruby's team and help them fight cinder because where did all of them go where did all of the other huntsman from Atlas gold it was so weird that they just weren't there but I guess they need an excuse for the girls and everyone else to fall 😅
I don't care if it takes 2 years 4 years or 8:00 I hope that one day we get to see volume 10 I have so much hope for it I've been seeing so many more people in the fandom who were just in a blase mood and depressed about what was going on with the show and after seeing the epilogue today I just see so much positivity I've been seeing the green light volume 10 has tag trending again on Twitter and on Tumblr which surprised me I've been seeing people talk about it again on Instagram I'm just so happy that even though we've only got this little bit right here in the Ruby beyond to look forward to I'm just so happy that this is giving us back hope I've seen so many people leave over the past year after volume nine and us not really getting any word on what was going on with v10
I hope that you and other UA-camrs who cover the show do some theories on what
Like I said one of my theories already came true I always figured Salem was going to go to Vail
my other theory is that Oscars merge will be complete by the end of volume 10 and we just won't know who it is at the end I'm hoping it's Oscar but either way will lose Oz or Oscar and it sucks
Or maybe if we're lucky somehow Oscar could use one of the relics on himself and it would stop his merge 🤔
We didn't get to see Maria RPA troll which was kind of a bummer
But like I said I'm happy we did get to see important characters like winter Oscar and Nora get the spotlight we also saw a bit of emerald even though she didn't get talk or have a moment in the epilogue I'm just glad we got to see her 😭
Qrow and Willow are AA partners in my headcanon.

With the Asturias twins on her side Salem doesn't really need Cinder anymore. She could have Jax mind control the summer maiden into opening the vault and have him mind control Oz into revealing where the crown is.

Not necessarily. Before, she only had Beacon tower, and, even after months, she couldn't find the Crown. However, she likely just demolished Vale to secure a better grip on the area, after Ruby announced her presence to the world.

@@pauljordan0203 we don't even know what those counter measures are. All we know is that, even with Beacon under her complete control,she still has no idea where the Crown is. She THINKS it's in Beacon, but we, the audience, aren't sure.

Or, it would be funny to have Ren say to Jaune (like Legolas to Aragorn) "You're late."
That was my first thought, too.
Crown of choice is Glynda. her symbol is a crown. her semblance works almost like magic. and hiding the relic in a way that it can defend itself in a very different way from the other 3.

It kinda bothers me that Maria and Pietro aren’t seen or mentioned at all.
I mean, if they included Theo, they would have needed to cast a VA since it would be weird if he was there and didn't speak, while Jax and Gillian were only on screen
y'know, I joined the fandom and got into RWBY after Volume 9 came out.. and I'm just glad I'll actually get to watch reactions as they come out.. even if it's just this once :)
Ever since RT announced they were closing I have been so depressed and anxious knowing this show can be cancelled any day and that things are up in the air. I just hope that RT are telling the truth when they say they're still working on Volume 10 until they close and are actively trying to find a new studio to take over production of RWBY. Also I hope they keep the voice actors, the writers and keep the story as it is. This show cannot end like this.

Controvercial opinion: if Roosterteeth really wanted to have an impact they would have had volume 9 take place entirely in vacuo covering the growth of the rest of the cast, leaving little hints at the end of each episode to the ever after with volume 10 being the ever after with the reunion episode at the end.
I dont know why this felt kinda dark especially the part where mercury and tyrian broke out the crown it felt off

With the shut down of Rooster Teeth the fate of RWBY and Camp Camp and Red Vs Blue ending.....well rvb had a movie ending but the other 2 are up in the winds....though camp camp should've ended after the s4 special and not had a 5th season....are you going to react to the 4 eps of s5?

It will be under the main RWBY series. Look for Volume 9 since it's uploaded to RT now and then scroll to Episode 11. Since that is what the Epilogue is also labeled as
I really really REALLY wish they did a full animation of this. Trying to watch it with just these scratches is just...off putting 😕 it just doesn't feel quite real
All this does is make me pissed at qrow. Tai knew he was gonna get these kids killed. And if not for story telling bs he killed 5 of them

…..Also if Salem could destroy vale offscreen on her own then why the hell didn’t she ever do that before!? And don’t use the staff as a shield to counter this argument until something very good says otherwise! You hear me people!?
Simple: she saw Atlas as a bigger target. When you decide to forgo stealth, you want to make sure you're first attack in against the biggest threat to your plans. In this case, if the world was going to know about her, she'd need to take out Atlas, who could provide the largest army. With that gone, she doesn't need to worry about the rest (in her mind).

Not only that but she literally explained it herself. She wanted to divide people so when she attacked each kingdom, the kingdoms wouldn't have each other's support. At least that was the original plan.
Salem is the type to be cruel because she can. She COULD have been able to do everything herself but why do that when the enemy you're fighting can destroy themselves slowly?
Salem is basically a sadist. (That's how she seems to me)
@@jenmiranda13 she's also aware of how strong her opponent COULD be. She knows that, united, humanity can beat her. So she waited until the right moments to strike.

You do realize that Rooster Teeth is shutting down and that would have happened no matter how well RWBY did, because you can’t keep an entire dysfunctional company for one successful property…. Right? Or that even the biggest streaming platforms operate at a loss in order to one day secure a monopoly before they hike up the prices and Rooster Teeth could have never successfully accomplished that… right?
The problem isn’t piracy, it’s that Rooster Teeth tried to be a streaming platform, and many LARGE streaming platforms do not turn a profit, when they should have instead tried to capitalize on the idea of fan patronage and “whales”.
And even if RWBY critics encouraged other critics to boycott the show, those are critics…. Not the fans? Do you think they successfully made FANS pirate the show somehow? That would be like me saying that it’s because of my haters not pledging to Patreon that I don’t have more patrons - those haters would have never been patrons dude.
