Driving Greece: EO9 Navarino Sand Dunes (Gyalova Lagoon) - Kyparissia - 4k scenic coastal drive

Welcome to a nice coastal drive through the west coast of The Peloponnese Peninsula. We discover a beautiful coastal area, with many attractions like The Old Navarino Castle or The Voidokilia Beach, accesible via a dirt road from Gyalova. After joining the national road 9, we are driving on it northbound, through a nice pleasant countryside, with many olive trees around, until north of Kyparissia.

Hi, thanks a lot, yes Greece has really a lot to offer. Travelled through the country 4 times until now, visiting different corners of it, always a great experience. I guess in the last years the economy started to recovery, let's hope the best for this wonderful country.

Griechenland ist jedes mal erschütternd zu sehen wie verarmt die mittlerweile sind. Alleine der wenige Verkehr und auch die Autos. Haufenweise uralte Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Hyundai teilweise 30 bis 40 Jahre alt. Nichts gegen diese Marken aber alleine die Anzahl wieviele da noch fahren oder vor allem in den Ortschaften parken. Echt erschreckend wie die das Land an die Wand gefahren haben.

Hi, ja, hatte auch den Eindruck. Ich war aber in Winter da, es waren meistens einheimische in die Dörfer. Im Sommer sieht es vielleicht anders aus, wenn viele Touristen kommen.
