Thanks for the first impression. I got my Ginault Ocean Rover II (blue bezel no date) about two months ago and love it. I am now waiting for this same one Silent Service Diver (but no date) which I ordered two weeks ago and can't wait to get it. Thanks again for sharing. Keep up the great work!
I have had my Ginault SS for about 6 months. I truly love it. Looks amazing and wears very well. Last point, John at Ginault has demonstrated outstanding customer service, they truly have created special high quality time pieces.
I just received my silent service about two weeks ago and I could not be happier. Everything you have said in this video is absolutely true. One of the things I find is that it is the clearest most readable watch I own, by far. I also like the fact that it is hand constructed, which means there is no other watch like it. James, you always put together a great video and in my opinion bringing up a hazy background that has no proof to back it up is almost like spreading gossip. Like you, I judge the watch I have on my wrist and whoever put it together did an amazing job. It’s a quality watch at a fair price. And one more point, when it comes to having this watch serviced, almost anybody can work on the movement in it, unlike a Rolex, which costs 10 times more. Just some thoughts. thanks again for your great videos.
I love my OR2 with blue bezel, no date. One thing that really stands out for me is the crystal clarity, it almost disappears its that clear. The only other watch I have that is similar is my Citizen "The Citizen". That clarity really makes a watch feel more premium to me
This is one of those watches people should buy instead of ‘homages’ and even more ‘replicas’ and for sure ‘copies’. Buy something like that, enjoy some rolex-ness but with it’s own twist, with unique combo, beautiful details, care about the movement and support small brand along the way. No excuses for crap that simply rips off somebody else. Well done Ginault!
I really want this watch for its bracelet. I think my Steinhart Ocean One ceramic is nicer looking (looks just like a submariner), and i'd be willing to bet the quality on everything besides the cyclops (which I popped off) and the bracelet is 95% as good as this Ginault. But that bracelet really puts my Steinhart's to shame. Is that worth 3x the price though? Not sure.
I’ve owned two Steinharts and really liked them. But the Ginault is a big step up. Yes the bracelet is a lot better. But the watch itself is too. But they are different watches at different price points.
I came here for the hate comments and only one Rolex fanboy showed up. Diver class, this is not the only Sub copy out there it is one of countless others so there is obviously interest in it. And news flash not everyone either has the means to spend $10K+ on a watch or is willing to spend that much for just a wristwatch.
I had a deposit down for the silent service, but could not get past the murky history of the owner. No doubt it is an awesome (albeit somewhat pricey) watch.
Funny I am the exact opposite, I learned about the brand bc of the expose on the watchmaker himself, I was totally fascinated by it. The brand history is interesting, and when my Ginault arrived, WOW is all I can say, and that's with already high expectations I had prior to receiving their watches. The watchmaker is a legend as legend has it! The quality, and details of the watches he built for me is unbelievable , hitting way above the price range. The guy is also very knowledgeable and very solid after sales service too.
This one does not disappoint

They are brilliant quality.
I’ve had one for about 2 years and trust me you will not regret it. Fantastic
Beautiful! Keep up the good work! Really appreciate your knowledge and straight forward opinion on those watches. I am a fan!
Thank you very much

Great to hear you have been as impressed as I have been.
The quality of the watch is outstanding.

They make incredible watches. I am very impressed
It's a looker for sure, but out of my usual price range. Can't wait for the full review.
Thanks for WATCHing
Really looking forward to the full review James 👍👏👍👏👏
It is a brilliant watch.
I’ve been so impressed so far
Just got mine 2 days ago and love it. Despite the controversy with the company this is by far one of the best watches for the money period.
It is an incredible watch
Absolutely gorgeous watch
Thanks for WATCHing
This seems like such a highly impressive watch! Look at the presentation of this piece and the tests that they do... Very impressive!
It is an incredible watch. Really feels like something special
These tests are made by John, whoever he is,lol
@@piotrszmidel Must be the watchmaker or technician.
@@johanvandersandt8904 I think he might be TC himself
Great first review, sensational watch on Wrist!
I like everything about Silent Service compared to other big hitters.
Thanks for WATCHing
It’s a beauty! Looking forward to the full review.
Thanks for WATCHing
5 digit Sub case, 6 digit bracelet 1:1 recreation, Planet Ocean bezel style and crown, BlancPain sapphire style bezel, MOD omega military style dial. A true winner.
Thanks for WATCHing

That looks great, ticks all my boxes, thanks
It is a great watch.
Good looking watch for sure!
Thanks for WATCHing
Very cool. Looking forward to the full review. Wondering how it compares to watches in the same category such as CW and Squale. Thanks!
I’m going to say it’s better.
I feel it fits somewhere between CW and Tudor.
Looks good. Can’t wait for the review.
Thanks for WATCHing
Had my eye on this for a while, I want to consolidate a few pieces to get it
It is an incredible watch. Everyone I know that owns one has the same opinion
Very cool piece id like to see them move to using la joux perret movements though
Thanks for WATCHing
If I could, I would go for both, Silent Service and Ocean Rover II. Both No Date
I have the OR2 coming as well. It will be very interesting to see both together.
Nice
Very very nice
Review Ocean Rover 2 please!
It has been ordered. Just awaiting delivery.

Best in what class? Blatant Rolex Sub copy class?
Thanks for WATCHing

Why wouldn't they brand the clasp.
That’s a good question. Their logo would look good on the clasp
Where is this watch made?
99% in America.
At 4mins 11secs I thought it looked like the black dial had white specs of dust on it? 🤔
I think it is on top of the crystal. I try to clean prior to filming by the camera pick up things I can’t see.
Is here waiting the guy banned from the League recently?Well, hello, here I am🙋😅
Thanks for WATCHing
lots of seamaster copies out there
