I dunno half the things this thing can do but it accurately tells me the depth and I can watch my crab pots drop into the sea. Also shows you the fishies swimming around under you - I’d get it again in a heartbeat

this thing will give us official navigation charts? The hook 5 looks nice but it's a lot of money for something to stick on my old aluminum boat. i got a hook 2 4x, I don't think it has charts

I would not recommend this for anything other than small vessels on fresh water.

On 5-8-23 i called for tech support I was no.18 in line after 30 minutes I hung up and tried to fix my self I called back now no.27 in line after 1.52 minutes i got to talk to some lady that new nothing about hook2 4x after 30 minutes I asked for tech supervisor she hung up on me but called me back 10 minutes later.then made the transfer and now no. 7 in line after 1.45 minutes Im next in line, oh no it's 5pm and they hung up lowrance closed up for the day. If you buy any of their products and have problems I warned you.

Why would you care about speed on a kayak, help abolish the fishing licenses.

When I am drift fishing for catfish I want to keep my speed around .5 mph or so. Don't want to drift too fast.
