Driving the Stelvio Pass & Lake Como Vanlife

- The final week of my van trip! I drive Trev up the epic Stelvio Pass in Italy - a high alpine road with tens of switchbacks and incredible views the whole way up of the nearby glaciers. I drive to Lake Como for a few days in the most perfectly located park up and enjoy Italian food, swimming in the lake and the last bit of sun!

Well the power issues are obviously caused by all the loose dangling wires in Trev! 😜 Seriously though, probably a loose connection somewhere. Trace the wires from the power source to the outlet. Use a multimeter, look for continuity. I can relate to being more in tune with the earth when out camping. I sleep so much better and I wake up with the sun. But, when I'm at home, I'm up at 2 or 3am.. mostly because I know I have to work. I'll take a road trip any day! Looking forward to your next trip!

'Does anyone know why my electrics might have stopped and then started working again???' - vibrations would seem to be the most obvious answer, Emily (but obviously not good vibrations eh - a Beach Boys reference btw) - although it could possibly be caused by temporary dampness perhaps??? (might also be worth checking soldered joints, perhaps??? - and if so try resoldering them???) ...
