When I polled you guys earlier this week and asked you which Artist you'd like to see featured next, Hendrix was the winner! I decided to go with an absolute classic. I know there's probably a lot Jam Tracks for this one out there already, but this is my spin on it! I also did a jam track for Villanova Junction, which I will finish and release at some point. I'm not well versed enough in theory to say whether it is common practice, but it's definitely something I incorporate often in my playing, which is why I added it to the scale diagram. And as you say, it works well!

Is flatting the 4th as well as the 5th a common thing? I barely know music theory and have never seen that before, but I like how it works here.
