I’d recommend looking to put it on the hard so you can properly address all the maintenance and repairs below the waterline. Also I think the only way to properly fix this boat to make it worth living on would require you to remove the mast and redo the mounts and chain plates. I mention theses two areas of focus because below the water line and your mast are the most critical areas if you plan on crossing any serious blue water. Good luck and keep at it.

Great job guys but do yourself a favour, cleaning vinegar is your best friend for moulds, disinfects & safe.

Why do you call people flat earthers?
Even came with the original rust on the tools !, awesome. I would very strongly suggest pulling the boat, and getting placed on the hard. you need to address the mast, and that leads ya to the haul from the out side. Don't skip this part if ya figure ya want to sail the deep waters.
Don’t worry we will put her up on the dirt before we go on any adventures in her… apart from the adventure to the dry dock 😬
Vinegar Is great for mold and rust "with soaking time" and cheap.
Just use the white stuff though it smells less and doesnt stain or leave any stickyness.
It sounds like ya dad even thinks a safety harness is not worth the extra 5mins...well I guess they're right , ya can't fix stupid.
Ok that was stupid but calling it out is enough.....they will learn....Ok now you brook brothers practice safety in everything the sea will kill you if you don't.

It’s 55 feet long. I haven’t measured the width and draught yet. The guy I bought it from didn’t provide much information about it, so I’m not even sure when it was made. I still need to do some research.
