Daniel Lim You would need to craft him though since you won't be able to buy the adventure after this year. So anyone who starts playing in 2017 or 2018 have one more card to craft.
Trump was so certain of his victory against the warrior, and it would have only taken one less hit from the giant or 8 more armor from the armorsmiths for the warrior to win. He was really wrong saying armor doesn't matter, fatigue is no joke.
Also if he had 1 more armorsmith, trump looses. He sad he can kill the armorsmith, then heal the giant. But he cant do that in the same turn, so he can execute it, and win. Trump totally fucked up there
he plays 2 armorsmiths in a row and arcane giant can only attack one the other one survives unless trump uses shadow circle in which case the giant will still be damaged
Thinking it through you always win as priest if you assume he has whirlwind execute since you use 2 cards per armorsmith so your hand empties faster and he is forced to play cards or burn them and a single burned execute or whirlwind means you win, so what trump had to do was wait a bit longer, no point in keeping 3 aoe combos on your hand.
Why that Druid at the end didn't attempted to take out the Mech Warpers with the highest attack and the benefit of making his other mechs free to play, I will NEVER understand.
***** I had figured that myself. Still a poor move not to read the card more closely and to keep removing the wrong guys even after noticing it's not helping. Not that it would have mattered right then, anyway.
Shane McZane dude, before you comment you should read the entire comment train! i was talking about a top 30 cards deck, where you chose 30 cards and the rest of the deck gets filled with copies of it!
Prince Malchezaar (Direct Counter to Mill) Elemental Destruction (Direct Counter to minion-heavy Decks) Healing Wave (Direct Counter to spell-heavy Decks) Currently I'm 41/6 with this deck. Hail Control-Shaman
It can be but most minion based decks rely on putting all their minions on board at once (eg. mech decks) - once you clear it's gg cause their hand is empty.
There's another way the warrior could have won that game after burning the whirlwind: playing 2 armorsmiths. Trump can either kill one with the giant and then heal it, and he can use the other one to attack it and execute it. Or Trump may use the combo to clear both, damaging his giant, so he could execute it next turn.
no, he literally cant won in that board xD he can not trade minions and he cant prevent 3 minions for do 30+ damage every turn so he just let the robots do the job
Humility + Forbidden Healing + Prince Malchezar. It recks Mill and most minion based decks. All you have to do is mill for all the heals and Humilties you can get before the princes fill your deck up to 60.
It's a shame ppl just copy the strongest decks out there instead of experimenting. For a while now, many players have sunk to just net decking everything. It makes the game less fun for everyone.
Yes you can copy a deck online. But what makes that any less fun to play? What difference does it make if your playing the one who made it or a random person. You would still just be playing against that deck.
In the first match the warrior could also have used two armor smiths to trigger the execute (had he conserved resources), since you can always only kill one smith with a giant and heal it. Using the clear combo will also leave the giant wounded.
having malchezaar in deck is most idiotic thing u can do coz u get shitty curve.. 60 cards in deck and before you draw something u need u will lose. having more cards in deck is not good in this type of brawl. it may only work against mill druid thats it.
That card that makes you draw a card then deal damage equal to its cost (pretty sure it’s a paladin card) with molten giants and other expensive cards would be a cool idea
My deck that had very good results was Frost Nova, Mage Apprentice, and Cabalist Tome. Turn 4 Mage + Frost. Next turn Mage + Mage now frost costs 0. Every turn you play Apprentices until Cabalists Tome is dirt cheap and you can cast pretty much every mage spell for free with a board full of Apprentices. It worked really well for me.
***** It only directly counters mill, and if you dont have a good starting hand you probably lose because of all the random legendaries. Against mechs (at least hunter) you most of the time die before you can cast brawl.
I went with Sorcerer's apprentice, Frostbolt and Arcane Intellect. Turn 6 (or 5 with coin) you play three SAs. Then the rest of spells are completely free. Just play every arcane intellect and Frostbolt. You can usually draw a full hand of extra SAs while clearing everything from the board and blasting their health.
I've seen so many people naturalize the tiger instead of the mech warper. why the fuck would they do that? not only does it's effect no longer work, but they actually have less stats than the mech warpers... oh well
That first round... all you really needed was to hold the giants until a whirlwind. Then play them out 1 at a time and try to not let any armorsmith (or circle combo) hit your giants... You almost died, despite the unkilled giant too. 1 turn off. Such luck!
11:00 no Trump, he can also activate the execute by playing more than one armor smith in one turn if you only have 1 giant out. you can kill one and heal the giant but then he can trade in the other on his next turn and execute. If you use embrace + circle to kill both then your giant is damaged anyway and can be executed. Or he could have, if he still had more than 1 armor smith left. But I doubt you counted how many died.
I've had a pretty consistent turn 5 lethal using Inner Fire, Divine Spirit, and Twisted Worgen. Just play the worgen on turn 1, and divine spirit 5 times, with an inner fire once you reach 32 health. Kills everything that doesn't use ice blocks or taunt. About 50/50 against mill, if they mill you to death before you can pull off the combo, you lose. Works better with the coin.
As someone with a passing interest in game theory that was some A+ stuff that first round. I'm kind of a noob but i found some success with what i had which was innervate, mark of the wild, and Druid of the Claw (charge). If you go second and get the ideal hand you can have a 6/6 with taunt and charge on your first turn.
I played a warrior with Whirlwind, Armorsmith, and Patron. First player I played against was Magic Missles, Flame Lizard who does 2 shots of 1 damage, and kobold for magic +1 and more magic missles. Perfect counter, as soon as 1 patron was on board, he just generated 5 more and quiT! Felt so good.
My watch has just begun: Priest ancient watcher,pw:s and silence. Hella fun to play against any of the metas as each turn has strategic choices and not just card spam.
I'm currently 10-0 with Innervate-loatheb-moonglade portal. Loatheb+innervate beats most decks by itself. If they're using a minion to combo off, you're bigger than it and will trade very advantageously. If they're using a spell, they can't use it until turn5+ and even then at an extreme inefficiency. Innervate makes it so you're always able to burn through your hand against mill decks. If you are able to make three loatheb in a row that's almost certainly game against most decks, since they're unable to cast spells during that time, and you connect the next turn for a total of 30 damage exactly, which means they need to deal with you on the board or lose with zero interaction. Moonglade portal is by far the weakest card, but it basically counters all decks that are intending on burning you down, like frostcaster. It's also insurance against mill. The only deck I didn't feel like I was hard countering was mech, though I still won both times.
I had some slight success with Pagle + Loot Hoarder + Cold Blood. Of course nothing amazingly effective, but hilarious with the Pagle intros. Plus, you get cards up the ass.
Easily the most fun deck I played in this brawl was Druid; Innervate, Barnes, Prince Malchezaar. The sheer randomness of playing with 50 unknown legendary cards on top of the 30 cards you have is nuts. That and I can only imagine the look on the faces of the mill druid players...
My deck was On The Hunt, Brave Archer, Arcane shot. It's like having your own personal firing squad. (loses every time to AI, Sorcerer's Ap., Arc. Missles mage and Mill druid.)
Most Hunter Mech decks that I saw used Tracking to find the next mech that you need. Pretty much meant t3 guaranteed win (or loss, if your opponent could deal with it).
I have been getting incredible results against all kinds of decks using a Rogue with a mech setup: Mechwarper, Iron Sensei and Psych-o-Tron, Current winrate: 98% (79 games played). Very fun deck to play with and can easily encounter those silly Druids and their silly Innervate. ^_^
I had a fair amount of success in the pick 2 with Whisps of the Old Gods and Innervate. For pick 3 I used Whisps, Innervate, and Power of the Wild and went 12 - 1. Only challenge has been hunter mech warper for obvious reasons but I did manage to hold my own and beat one by Whisping turn 1 with 3 innervates. Haven't seen anyone try it yet so throwing my group in the ring
Living Roots, Power of the Wild, and Lorewalker Cho. If they attempt to use your own spells against you, they get punished for it. And the better version of Barnes, Innervate Y'Shaarj is Alarm-o-Bot, Innervate and Y'Shaarj.
Hey, there's that new interesting Tavern Brawl where you can have fun trying out silly combos and watching the mini-meta develop itself! No, let's just play control warrior, what is fun anyway.
Those of you having trouble with Druid innervate cold light oracle and naturalize, you can use this Druid combo: innervate, living roots, and power of the wild. So far I haven't lost once against a mill Druid with this combonation.
I prefer coldlights, innervate, power of the wild. If you draw perfectly you can have 7 2/2 on the board turn 1 with coin, and you can power of the wild them as needed every turn till you win.
A pretty good deck I had made for my warrior wins quest was "upgrade, fiery war axe, and heroic strike". It loses to all annoy o tron decks but I've won most
druid mill is unbeatable, with the fact that naturalize can be cast on your own oracles: - coldlight oracle - innervate - naturalize 100% win rate deck, except against mirror. in that case goes by who gets the most naturalizes off
I had fun on Paladin with Shade of Naxxramas, Forbidden Healing and Blessed Champion. Was actually beating a lot of the more annoying decks by letting Shades build up till I could buff and have one turn leathal, and just keep healing myself.
Counter mill druid: whirling zapomatic +rockbiter + doomhammer (try to mill the whirling, but they are good against other classes) just use doomhammer + 4 rockbiters = 28 damage turn 5-6 or turn 4-5 with coin Counter hunter: elemental destruction volcanic drake (and if you're feeling like having fun) evolve.
The nastiest combo I've played against was the one ( dont remember the exact cards' names) where I was forced to constantly draw like 5 cards every turn until I had no deck left and took more and more damage, and there was nothing I could have done to prevent that, cause it was a combo of spell card and battle cry .... that was reeeeeeally nasty as hell
I came up with Tunnel Trogg, Dust Devil, Lightning Bolt. Seems almost unstoppable. Only lost 1 game against a turn 1 innervate, innervate, barnes into Y'shaarj into Y'shaarj.
Here's the ones I tried that worked reasonably: Whirlwind, armorsmith, frothing Auchenai, flash heal, circle Humility, aldor, forbidden healing And of course the scumbaggiest of all: innervate, coldlight, naturalize
Dude. Malchezzar Imp, Soulfire, Dark Peddler is the best of the discard choices because, if you have to play Peddler, you get a good card, sometimes an extra Soulfire. if you get a hand of Fists of Jaraxxus or Silverware Golem, you're just playing crappy minions that cost way more than anything that should be in your opponents deck. For this Brawl, you basically need a win condition, a draw, and something to protect you from your opponent's win condition. All of this should be 1-2 mana so you can consistently play on curve. Mana Wyrm, Babbling Book, Mirror Image is good for this. Wyrms hit hard, Books keep the spells flowing, and Mirrors stop minions from killing you.

You were completely wrong against the execute-armor smith-whirlwind warrior I'd say... he had a very easy way to win : whenwever you had 1 arcane giant on the board, playing 2 armor smith makes you unable to clear. Then he "gains" a whirlwind. and w/th 1-2 more whirlwind...
Swashburglar + Preparation + Burgle. Not terribly consistent, but fun as hell when it works. The one I have yet to lose with is Murloc Tidecaller + Bluegill Warrior + Murloc WArleader. Though the latter one is cancerous to the nth degree.
I ran a super sweet Power Word: Shield, Arcane Anomaly, Inner Fire deck. Mill druid was unbearable to play against, but other then that it actually did pretty well.
I'd like to make a really viable C'thun deck for this, but I'm having trouble since I just started Hearthstone about two weeks ago. :o SO far, the best I've done is Shaman with Beckoner of Evil + That one shaman taunt minion that gets lower cost as you summon totems + C'thun. On another note, it's fun playing Windfury creatures with buffing spells. :3
Oh, I just had another idea, if anyone wants to try it: Prince Malchazaar + Elise (The card that gives you that map for the monkey) + a discovery card of your choice. Mal gives you a huge deck, and Elise lets you get the map which gives you the monkey which then turns your huge deck into 100% legendary minions. Not to mention, for each Elise, you get another card added to the deck for each time you play her and have yet to draw the map, play it, then draw the monkey. :3
That's cause there probably isn't a reliable cthun deck for this. Your best bet is probably with alarmo bot but even then you will only win if your opponent has no answer for it.
I did quite like this brawl. Might be better than the "top 2" version.. hmm dunno. Both were interesting. Looking forward to next month's "top 5" brawl. :P But that said, I wish more people would try out different decks. I liked this brawl enough to keep playing after just getting a win, and it seemed like 50% or more of my opponents were just using the Druid mill deck.
i have a couple decks that are not all that efficient, but fun: -Swashburgler, Undercity Huckster, Burgle -Innervate, Raven Idol/Doomsayer, Prince Malchazaar
I did surprisingly good (since I am rather bad at this game) as warrior with Elven Archer, Flame Juggler and Frothing Berserker. Surely all the pros have a better combo, but this was really fun to play. It was quite frustrating as 50% of my opponents were mages with Mirror + Mana Wyrm + Arcane Missiles.
Kibler tried-Barnes ,innervate,Deathwing Dragonlord ,its so good never lost to mill it just fills your deck with deathwings that your 1/1 deathwing can summon. Its also really fun!
Love how on that warlock game Trump goes like "I think it's better to be the person reacting rather than the one..." And then takes initiative 5 seconds later and loses the game, GG pro
Won like 13 games in a row (including vs naturalize, inner ate, coldlight Druid) with target dummy, shield bearer, bolster warrior. Play every bearer, save the dummies until turn 3, because you plan to bolster plus bolster on turn 4 so it basically gives the ones that survive the turn charge, summon like 3 or 4 4/6 with taunt, one of two 4/8. If you have another bolster in hand turn 5 they all turn into 6/8 and 6/10. Pretty unstoppable, even mill keeps refueling you with a bunch of dummies and two or 3 bolster.
2 years later...
Top 30 brawl! Pick 30 cards, and we'll make a deck for you with 1 copy of each!
Reno is an auto-include then. Shame he's out of rotation in 2 years time.
All cards are allowed in Tavern Brawl.
Daniel Lim You would need to craft him though since you won't be able to buy the adventure after this year. So anyone who starts playing in 2017 or 2018 have one more card to craft.
ThornsOfSerenity Not really the point but yeah you're right. A Reno brawl would be fun though :) Not crazy at all
Brawls are wild, so Reno will be usable. Hence Metaltooth Leapers and Target Dummy.
Trump totally fucked up there
Tilretas How so?
he plays 2 armorsmiths in a row and arcane giant can only attack one the other one survives unless trump uses shadow circle in which case the giant will still be damaged
Or he plays Arcane Giant after killing armorsmiths?
Thinking it through you always win as priest if you assume he has whirlwind execute since you use 2 cards per armorsmith so your hand empties faster and he is forced to play cards or burn them and a single burned execute or whirlwind means you win, so what trump had to do was wait a bit longer, no point in keeping 3 aoe combos on your hand.
Replace arcane giant with zombie chow. then just circle your zombies and OTK them
The best one would obviously be Magma Rager, Wisp and Whirlwind.
Chane the wisp into penguin
Ion Yagami no you sick fk
Heckin patches deck
Why that Druid at the end didn't attempted to take out the Mech Warpers with the highest attack and the benefit of making his other mechs free to play, I will NEVER understand.

I had figured that myself. Still a poor move not to read the card more closely and to keep removing the wrong guys even after noticing it's not helping. Not that it would have mattered right then, anyway.
"Reading is Tech," "RTFC," still a thing
he loses regardless, but yeah that was bizarre
He gave up
???
how about a top 30 brawl? and we should build a ranking system around that!
So a bunch of Reno decks?
Plasma Lycan its pretty much the ladder right now
+Plasma Lycan Reno Deck? So I draft Reno Jackson 30 times?
Shane McZane dude, before you comment you should read the entire comment train! i was talking about a top 30 cards deck, where you chose 30 cards and the rest of the deck gets filled with copies of it!

Prince Malchezaar (Direct Counter to Mill)
Elemental Destruction (Direct Counter to minion-heavy Decks)
Healing Wave (Direct Counter to spell-heavy Decks)
Currently I'm 41/6 with this deck. Hail Control-Shaman
overload must be a bitch
Will Prince Malchezaar give random 50 legendaries in this brawl?
0.o
Xqwzts max deck size is 60 so it only gives 30
Doomsayer, resurrect, mind blast
It can be but most minion based decks rely on putting all their minions on board at once (eg. mech decks) - once you clear it's gg cause their hand is empty.
The Top X brawls are super fun until people find that magic combo that never loses.
Though it is very easy to counter decks like Druid mill decks with malchzar
discolock also burns thru cards faster than they can make you draw, so lots of fun there
Or a deck that plays faster than they can mill you.
that doesn't really work either than normally can just kill those with naturalize
there's no deck that NEVER loses.
Trump knew that, and had been counting armorsmiths. His hand was 3 Executes and 2 Whirwinds.
wtf was the last druid doing? not killing the mechwarpers...
ikr? actually braindead
Probably thought the leapers were a passive aura.
He must've thought the leapers gave attack every turn or something... dunno.
Even so. The mechwarpers had more attack and they're ability enabled lethal. Like I feel like the dude just kinda gave up.
Just... druids
Discard deck was the most fun for me to play. Ultimate value.
That last druid killed the 3 wrong minions, big mistake
no, he literally cant won in that board xD he can not trade minions and he cant prevent 3 minions for do 30+ damage every turn so he just let the robots do the job
He wouldn't be playing mill if he wasn't though
What should i kill? a 8/3, or a 3/3? LMAO
.-.
+Dredbot 1337 8/3 that makes all my opponents cards cost 1 less too
***** He doubled down though after killing the first and seeing no difference lol.
The 3 cards i had the most fun playing was: Innervate, Raven Idol and Arcane Giant another was Malygos, Barnes and Moonfire. :)
It makes the game less fun for everyone.
ikr? i built decks that troll some people to death playing these decks, like mana wraith innervate against hunter and like bolster warrior shit
People net deck because they're the decks that win and people want to win.
If you want to have fun playing a competitive game isn't the answer
Yes you can copy a deck online. But what makes that any less fun to play? What difference does it make if your playing the one who made it or a random person. You would still just be playing against that deck.
Obviously the people doing it think it's fun or else they wouldn't be doing it.
Yuen that's one of the most stupid things I've heard in quite a while. Congratulations.
In the first match the warrior could also have used two armor smiths to trigger the execute (had he conserved resources), since you can always only kill one smith with a giant and heal it. Using the clear combo will also leave the giant wounded.
surprised he didn't try moroes barnes power word shield. infinite value guys!
The board is not large enough for strategies this good.
how is that infinite value ? i dont get it
+nicolaus dedes Moroes creates infinite tokens.
How is a board filled with 1/1 and a 1/x Moroes gonna win any games?
I did play moroes as a druid with the spell giving extra damage and innervate This was free win against most decks
innervate + alarm-o-bot + kel'thuzard = hilarity ensues
innervate, alarmobot, prince malchezaar is also rediculous. he adds 30 legendaries to your deck.
too bad i dont have him! >:O
well anyway, try mad scientist + vaporize + mirror entitiy :D
seems like there's not enough damage there to win, 10 mad scientist's prob won't be enough damage
having malchezaar in deck is most idiotic thing u can do coz u get shitty curve.. 60 cards in deck and before you draw something u need u will lose. having more cards in deck is not good in this type of brawl. it may only work against mill druid thats it.
George Ninua
do you know what alarmobot is?
ON WITH ON WITH ON THE SHOW WITH ON WITH THE SHOW WITH THE SHOW THE SHOW!
That card that makes you draw a card then deal damage equal to its cost (pretty sure it’s a paladin card) with molten giants and other expensive cards would be a cool idea
Barnes, Innervate, Blood of the Ancient One.
The Barnes would just pull out more Barnes.
In that first game I can feel the chat was going *ResidentSleeper* haha
Question: If you play Prince Malchezaar, do all 10 of him put 5 legendaries in your deck, so you have 50 random legendaries?
yes all princes give you a total of 30 legendaries cause of deck limit
yes
no, there is the 60 card deck limit, but all 10 add legendaries
yes
maybe now, it's changed, but I totally saw decks with 56 cards in them.
With Jade Golems in the game now, they could never do this Brawl again...
what about patches? imagine this: turn one: patches innervate double mark of lotus.
nice foreshadowing, lucjan.
I'm looking at the front image of that brawl like
"Dude a flare, fiery war axe, and lightning storm deck not only sucks but is not even possible."
And that's why I always replace the win 5 brawls quest.
Because you can't win brawls? I've already got 40 wins because of how easy it is to make a top tier deck.
go fatigue druid, what can go wrong
+Johnydude same.I echanted naturalize and that murloc just to farm some easy golds.I won 30 matches everyday with that deck thanks to brawl.
Prince Malchazar is the ultimate defense against the mill combos. I see soooo many druids and rogues conceding as soon as they see the legendary spam.
''Look at the skill in this brawl!''
Meanwhile I'm getting killed on turn 3 by hunters
***** It's not that simple when you only get to run 3 cards, also wtf brawl?! thats a dead card pretty much all the time every game
***** Then you mostly got lucky, because that deck is not good
***** It only directly counters mill, and if you dont have a good starting hand you probably lose because of all the random legendaries. Against mechs (at least hunter) you most of the time die before you can cast brawl.
I went with Sorcerer's apprentice, Frostbolt and Arcane Intellect. Turn 6 (or 5 with coin) you play three SAs. Then the rest of spells are completely free. Because they're morons and three-card-cancer is the only version of Hearthstone that isn't beyond their intellect.
That first round... all you really needed was to hold the giants until a whirlwind. Then play them out 1 at a time and try to not let any armorsmith (or circle combo) hit your giants...
You almost died, despite the unkilled giant too. 1 turn off. Such luck!
Innervate + Deathlord + N'Zoth
97%winrate (62 games)
or just 5 mana unit which has taunt and make 2 damage when it dies
is it good vs mech hunter ?
11:00 no Trump, he can also activate the execute by playing more than one armor smith in one turn if you only have 1 giant out. you can kill one and heal the giant but then he can trade in the other on his next turn and execute. If you use embrace + circle to kill both then your giant is damaged anyway and can be executed.
Or he could have, if he still had more than 1 armor smith left. But I doubt you counted how many died.
What happens if you play Prince Malchezaar?
You get like 20 legendaries
20 Piece of shit in the deck
Well, five cards for every Malchezaar, ten Malchezaars, so you get fifty of them.
You get exactly 30 legendaries, since there can be only 60 cards in your deck.
only 5 legendaries
I've had a pretty consistent turn 5 lethal using Inner Fire, Divine Spirit, and Twisted Worgen. Just play the worgen on turn 1, and divine spirit 5 times, with an inner fire once you reach 32 health.
I went lazy mode for this brawl and did Priest with Shieldbearer/Divine Strength/Inner Fire. Worked pretty well
Living Roots, Power of the Wild, and Lorewalker Cho.
But you lose against other shit out there almost certainly
I prefer coldlights, innervate, power of the wild.
If you draw perfectly you can have 7 2/2 on the board turn 1 with coin, and you can power of the wild them as needed every turn till you win.
+videotroll72 hmm interesting
doesn't even work. good players win at turn 3 with mill druid, naturalizing their own oracles.
***** you need to take savage roar instead of potw, then it might work
A pretty good deck I had made for my warrior wins quest was "upgrade, fiery war axe, and heroic strike". It loses to all annoy o tron decks but I've won most
Same
good deck is upgrade, dread corsair, bloodsail raider. Helps against annoying mill druids. Also can counter annoy-o-tron decks.
Something i came up with when i first saw this brawl: Innervate, Dr.Boom and Naturalize. I've won every game so far, and that is 7 games.
druid mill is unbeatable, with the fact that naturalize can be cast on your own oracles:
- coldlight oracle
- innervate
- naturalize
100% win rate deck, except against mirror. in that case goes by who gets the most naturalizes off
I had fun on Paladin with Shade of Naxxramas, Forbidden Healing and Blessed Champion. Was actually beating a lot of the more annoying decks by letting Shades build up till I could buff and have one turn leathal, and just keep healing myself.
in my opinion the best one for that hunter deck is an annoy-a-tron, gives you a safety net just in case lol
ON with the- ON with the- ON with the- ON with the show!
Equality, Wild Pyromancer, Truesilver Champion. That third card is really important.
Counter mill druid:
whirling zapomatic +rockbiter + doomhammer (try to mill the whirling, but they are good against other classes)
just use doomhammer + 4 rockbiters = 28 damage turn 5-6
or turn 4-5 with coin
Counter hunter:
elemental destruction volcanic drake (and if you're feeling like having fun) evolve.
You won't live to turn 6 on mill, usually you won't even live to turn 5. There is no chance you'll ever be able to play a doomhammer.
Mech Warper + Iron Sensei + Conceal
Lots of fun for the whole family.
Fiery war axe + upgrade + heroic strike worked surprisingly well
Guess that last druid thought Leaper was a persistent effect, can't think of any other reason for those trades/naturalizes.
The nastiest combo I've played against was the one ( dont remember the exact cards' names) where I was forced to constantly draw like 5 cards every turn until I had no deck left and took more and more damage, and there was nothing I could have done to prevent that, cause it was a combo of spell card and battle cry .... that was reeeeeeally nasty as hell
coldlight, tinyfin, everyfin is awesome. On the coin often 5 7/7's and 2 8/8's on turn 3. worked pretty well
I came up with Tunnel Trogg, Dust Devil, Lightning Bolt. Seems almost unstoppable. Only lost 1 game against a turn 1 innervate, innervate, barnes into Y'shaarj into Y'shaarj.
I had a lot of success with upgrade, southsea deckhand and bloodsail cultist! Mill-druid beats me most of the time though.
Here's the ones I tried that worked reasonably:
Whirlwind, armorsmith, frothing
Auchenai, flash heal, circle
Humility, aldor, forbidden healing
And of course the scumbaggiest of all: innervate, coldlight, naturalize
Pretty sure that MechWarper, Metaltooth leaper and draw is insane
With the 2 card one, I had a blast with Humility+Forbidden Healing.

17:25 Seems like Blizzard changed Guldan's mirror emote, now it actually sounds like his original Hearthstone voice
I ran a super sweet Power Word: Shield, Arcane Anomaly, Inner Fire deck. Mill druid was unbearable to play against, but other then that it actually did pretty well.
Mill Druid did me wonders for this mode.
Priest: Arcane anomaly, Power Word Shield, Inner Fire. It is great, only seems to lose to fatigue druid (innervate, murloc, naturalize)
I'd like to make a really viable C'thun deck for this, but I'm having trouble since I just started Hearthstone about two weeks ago. :o
SO far, the best I've done is Shaman with Beckoner of Evil + That one shaman taunt minion that gets lower cost as you summon totems + C'thun.
On another note, it's fun playing Windfury creatures with buffing spells. :3
Oh, I just had another idea, if anyone wants to try it:
Prince Malchazaar + Elise (The card that gives you that map for the monkey) + a discovery card of your choice.
Your best bet is probably with alarmo bot but even then you will only win if your opponent has no answer for it.
brave archer, arcane shot, and quick shot was pretty decent. won about half the mill druid games
I did quite like this brawl. Might be better than the "top 2" version.. hmm dunno. Both were interesting. Looking forward to next month's "top 5" brawl. :P
But that said, I wish more people would try out different decks. I liked this brawl enough to keep playing after just getting a win, and it seemed like 50% or more of my opponents were just using the Druid mill deck.
i have a couple decks that are not all that efficient, but fun:
-Swashburgler, Undercity Huckster, Burgle
-Innervate, Raven Idol/Doomsayer, Prince Malchazaar
Pure Damage Paladin. Equality, Consecration, Avenging Wrath
Anti Aggro Paladin. Noble Sacrifice, Steward of Darkshire, Ardent Protector or Truesilver
Combo Rogue. SI7: Agent, Sinister Strike, Tinker's Sharpsword Oil
Combo Rogue v2. SI7: Agent, Defias Ringleader, Shadow Strike
There's a few different decks to try out :D
I did surprisingly good (since I am rather bad at this game) as warrior with Elven Archer, Flame Juggler and Frothing Berserker. Surely all the pros have a better combo, but this was really fun to play.
It was quite frustrating as 50% of my opponents were mages with Mirror + Mana Wyrm + Arcane Missiles.
I ran Soulpriest, Flash Heal and circle of healing. Surprisingly effective.
Kibler tried-Barnes ,innervate,Deathwing Dragonlord ,its so good never lost to mill it just fills your deck with deathwings that your 1/1 deathwing can summon. Its also really fun!
Love how on that warlock game Trump goes like "I think it's better to be the person reacting rather than the one..."
And then takes initiative 5 seconds later and loses the game, GG pro
I have had some luck with Inner Fire, Divine Spirit, and Museum Curator. Plus it seems to be the only one of its kind.
25:52 "Tactical Genius" LOOL
"I am a strategic genius"
LMAO!! :)
27:58
Lmao left up the mechwarpers... what a FOOL!
Hey Trump, Exodia mage! 3 Sorcerer Apprentice + Arcane Intelect + Forgotten Torch (Infinite value of loop, 0 mana card draw, 0 mana 3+6 damage, refilling deck with torches)
This was _sooo_ haphazard.
The perfect deck for this brawl is Warper, leeper, annoy-o-tron.
*Enhance-O
Rogue prep + burgle + eviscerate, fun deck and had lots of wins
My favorite decks were Shaman: Hex, Malchezaar, Farsight, and Druid: Innervate, Falandrel, Raven Idol.
You can hear his excitement the first game lol
Innervate+Deathwing Dragonlord+Barnes.
I manged to get 3 12/12 Deathwing on the board. In Turn 2.
I wish Hearthstone had facecams :3
12/12 deathlord?
He meant the 12/12 deathwing.
Ui, thats true.
Benji3006 Ah
The Dragonlord Version, right?
Yes!
