  • Got in the third whirlpool unit with a broke wire going down to the pump and/or actuator. This one through a F7E5 but no drain code. So I just fixed the wire and secured it back. Thanks for watching diy at your own risk. #diy #whirlpool #maytag #toploadwasher #washingmachine #repair

Apart from seeing that same wire be broke after time and time again I also had one that the motor wire broke internally within the harness. I'm surprised whirlpool doesn't have a updated wire harness to fix this issue.

Man yeah! This was the third broke pump wire this week. I have seen the one going to the motor broken too. Pretty bad! Thank you for the feedback. 👍

We bought ours new last July. Both wires to the pump have broken at different times. One broke again at my splice. Now broke yet again. Almost a year old. Whirlpool does not have a repair service near me. They said to mail them the receipt via the link they will send. No link ever sent. Also have replaced the splutch. Not happy with this unit.

It’s a little frustrating yes! I’ve sold a few and they’ve broke in a short amount of time.
