You must be a city person ordering from fast food establishments. There are lots of people in the world growing food and making it all by hand, myself including. I don't find this so unusual. Most people DO NOT bake their own bread and rolls. To see those beautiful rolls being hand made IS unusual for many people not living in a rural area. To scrape dried herbs from a plant hanging in a kitchen is something else that is not common. Bottling vegetables and salting meats is something that we do not see. Everything we eat we buy at the supermarket. We will make our own hamburgers, but we go to the market where the meat is already ground. Maria has a lot of fortitude. Look at how nicely she keeps everything - so clean. I admire her adherence to cleanliness and living a natural life. It's wonderful.

I was fascinated to see the similarities in construction of the cabins, The style locking the logs is very similar to what I am use to seeing in the Appalachian Mountains. I'm from Tennessee in the United States and she had me with those country fried potatoes with the skin on but made it perfect with the home made burger....She is so blessed and talented. Porém moras em um lugar encantador..o barulho da porta rangendo, a alça do balde batendo na lateral do próprio balde, sons que acalma meus pensamentos...aqui em Blumenau SC Brasil, vivo uma vida tbem corrida, sem contar o estresse do trânsito diário. Mas ainda viverei em uma chácara afastado de toda agitação da cidade...
